It was one foggy afternoon when we heard a faint chirp sound of a bird at the bushes near our house. My husband tried looking for it and after a couple of minutes he finally found it.
Feeling cold and weak, that was how we described the bird at our first glance to it. My husband immediately brought it inside and my daughter happily get the bird and slowly caress it's head while her other hand covered it's body. When the bird became a little active, my husband looked for worms to feed the bird.
He slowly opened the mouth of the bird and put the worms he'd found. After it's eating time, the bird looked energetic again.
He then brought it outside and put on his shoulder so that it could fly wherever it wanted to but it didn't fly. It just stayed on his shoulder while tilting it's head from one side to another.

Waiting for more minutes to see if it would finally decide to fly, I took another photo of it. The bird looked so calm while resting on his shoulder.
Discovering that it had no plan on flying so we decided to take care of it temporarily. We put it in a small cage that we had at home. Then on the next morning, we put it outside the cage but we're guarding it so that the cat that we have at home would not catch it.
The bird flew but landed just a few meters where we put it. As we observed, it can't fly too high as of that time so we put it back on its cage. Again on the other day, we let it be free from its cage and let it fly again and it did. We thought that it flew far already as we didn't see it and hear it's sound for few hours but as the weather looked more gloomy, we heard a chirping sound not far from our house so my eldest son looked for it and he found it just below the grasses at the backyard. We took it before the rain poured and the next day we let it go. We put it on the branch of the tree near our house. Right now, we haven't seen it anymore. It maybe had already found a better place to stay.

Amazing pictures but even a more incredible story nursing it back to health 🙏 😊
Thank you and thanks for dropping by Sir Bob!
No problem 😊
This bird is too young, that is why it couldn't fly. So nice of you rescuing the birdie.
Thank you again for your entry. 🙂
Oh, now I get it why it only flew few meters coz it's still young. Thank you and you're welcome.
