Feathered Friends - The chirping of the shady avenues.

I noticed for a long time that goldfinches, siskins and my camera are single-pole magnets that repel each other.

Every time I wanted to photograph a goldfinch, or a siskin. they flew away before I had time to get the camera out of my bag.

But, yesterday, passing along a shady street with centuries-old trees, I saw two goldfinches singing and chasing each other.

I decided to take a moment and try to take photographs of these birds.

But, as usual, the birds disappeared into the branches of the trees.

I was about to leave when a bird, similar in color to a goldfinch, sat on a branch and began to sing.

The first photo in this series shows the moment when the bird sings, its beak is open.

But, not everything went as smoothly as we wanted.

Initially, the bird sat back to me, lol.

I had to wait a long time. when she turns.

These may not be the best photographs I have ever taken, but this is a small victory, after all. these birds have always eluded me.

Frankly, I have doubts that this bird is a goldfinch, which has a more massive beak, but I see some similarities.

Perhaps this is a species of siskin.

The bird did not obey the rules of etiquette and constantly turned away from me, I really wanted to see the color of the plumage of its wings.

In this photo, I can't see the goldfinch, brown cheeks instead of white stripes.

And, in this photograph, I see a bird that looks very much like a goldfinch, but the color of the plumage is very dull, perhaps it is a chick.

But, I was glad that a songbird settled on the memory card of my camera, which, you can talk about.

I know how much patience bird watching alone takes lol... I can only imagine how much more patience it takes to capture nice photos ;) Absoulutely worth it though :D An awesome victory for sure <333 Thank you for taking the time to do so and also share with the community.
