With the last bumper crop of #gardenjournal entries I was rather disappointed that you and @farm-mom are still missing. But NOW I understand. Instead of freezing your butts off in the last snow drift of winter you were tanning in temperatures close to ours! Well maybe not quite. Our summer was one long heat wave and it is suddenly over. As we prepare for winter I look forward to seeing spring sprung in your lovely garden @thebigsweed. With almost as much enthusiasm as those cute blue jays

Getting out of the cold weather for a while was a nice break, but we're both happy to be back home.
With the weather getting a little better every day it should not be long before we start getting some dirt under our fingernails.
We hope to see the garlic cloves we planted last November start to break through the ground and then it's game on.
This year we will be scaling down our garden as I will be laid up for a while following my knee replacement surgery that will take place the 5th of May.
With the size of garden that we usually plant it would be impossible for @farm-mom to tend to it all.
Thanks for stopping by and for such a nice reply.
I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
Scaling down is good and necessary for so many reasons. We're also downsizing the gardens. I hope you bounce back from the knee op .... well maybe not bounce! Depends on how fast @farm-mom can run I guess
