Title: The Pheasant who couldn't see.
Story: Philly the Pheasant was a beautiful bird but she was clueless. She walked around every day, through every changing season, unaware of the effect she had on others. Brilliant, kind, funny, and full of love, Philly was adored by almost everyone she met. Yet, for some reason, she couldn't see it.
She went through life totally unaware of her innate gifts, her numerous talents, and her inherent strengths. She was great, however, at seeing the genius in others. That was easy for her. She would be heard giving out compliments every single day, rolling off her tongue the way others would complain about something trivial.
But Philly was too busy being generous with her love to even think about what there might even be to complain about. She was so plugged into the beauty of others and the world around her she would get lost in states of awe and wonder and curiosity. That is, until someone pointed out her beauty, her strengths, her talents. Then she would shyly tuck her head under her wing refusing to accept the possibility that her incredible capacity to see good in others is exactly the thing that made her so beautiful.
How beautiful, I love it!
