Cute little puffins

Good evening dear hivean and feathers friends!

This is my first post to this community. I have tried quite a few new communities lately.
After a bit bitter feeling, posting in Haveyoubeenhere community with few of my last posts, I find myself very pleasent surprised with yesterday's post which was totally photography related and was shared withing Photography Lovers community.
I found out that writing a lot of bullshit many time doesn't bring any good :)
That is a beauty of photography as photos can speaks for themselves! Each person also have his own view on the photography and can describe it to himself in his own way.

Much appreciated! I have to shoutout to @derangedvisions and say a huge thank you for your support and doing a great job in "your" home community!

This time I choose five photos from my recent travel through Iceland and all are birds photos! So that is why I decided to do my premiere in this community.
I have to admit that I am not a special bird lover and I don't know much about them, but I really like watching and photographing them, especially on my travels.
It was no different on Icelandic travel, but still someting was special there. I almost fell in love with that gorgeous little birds called Puffins!
Ohhhh they are so cute!
We did a lot of extra travel just to see them on the Westfjords where is the biggest population. They are quite rare find, and Iceland is a place to go if you want to encounter them...
As far as I know there are three different species and the one I am sharing today is Atlantic Puffin.

Let that be all for now folks. Hope you will enjoy in my photos and thank you for your support in advance!

I love Puffins. Never had the chance to shoot them. One day . The last is my favorite.

Hey Robert thanks for stopping by!

Well that is one of the few things I noticed you haven't experienced yet :)
I am sure that day will come as well.

Ha there are infinite things to experience . We all just try and tick a few off before we drop off the planet . ;-)

As mentioned in the post already, thank you for your support!
Means a lot coming from photographer your rang.

I am not a special bird lover but for that one, I climbed over cliffs overlooking sea 100 meters vertical below just to get few decent photos :)

That sounds like an awesome time.

Scary from time to time, but yes :)

Wow, this is so pretty.

Lucky them as they are born so pretty :)

Yeah.
I am very interested to see it.

Thanks for sharing these with The Feathered Friends Community. !tipExcellent photos! Not many Puffins have been posted to #featheredfriends. I would be interested in knowing more about them.

Hi @melinda010100,

Thank you for tip and support at first!

I am very positive surprised with the feedback I received with my yesterday's post! Everyone around are crazy about these puffins :) But hey I am as well :)

I did little research on Google about puffins, but still don't know much about them. I know only that I still have some photos on stock and will share them in this community soon!

I will look forward to seeing them! Your photos are a pleasure. Were there many birds together in one place? Is this an area where they nest? What kind of nests do they build?

Yes there were many birds at that place.
They were located more individually but flew together as well. I have to admit that I didn't saw any nest. They were really on the edges of cliffs so they might have nests hidden somewhere on the rocks...
That is just me guessing :)

Photo Chain Challenge-34@melinda010100 wrote lately about: Feel free to follow @melinda010100 if you like it :)

Sending tips with @tipU - how to guide.

🎁 Hi @crazy-andy! You have received 0.1 HIVE tip from @melinda010100!

Oh they are so beautiful. Such cute little birds.

Everyone here share same opinion :)

Fan of your photographs 👌 Each one is the best one. The crisp clear puffins photographs, glad you made the extra travel to bring them to us.
And about writing longer and just the photographs, I feel the longer posts or the more content with quality would float soon than just photographs (Unless you prove yourself, which you have)
Its awesome to see your posts getting an awesome encouragement. Keep Rocking 🍻

Hi man,

Thank you, I am your fan too, you know that!
You are doing amazing job with your smartphone. Didn't know photos can look that good taken with smartphones...

Well different opinions about short/long posts. One photography post can have more quality than some long posts with twenty photos from time to time.
I prefer longer post anyway, but when you are an author and don't get recognition you think you deserved and almost nobody look at you post, that you (I) am a bit pissed off :) Well puffins are here to cool me down :)

Best regards to India my friend!

Wow! I missed those guys when I went there... never seen one live!

Reason to go back ;)

For sure!! Would love to revisit Iceland... maybe the northern lights won't escape me then!

Haha, thank you.
Your words are almost too kind :)

Awesome that you saw a puffin. I miss them already :)
Where did you see it?

They are so cute! It seems as if these chicks are toys.

Haha, I have one stuffed toy home yes :)
