Today I went up next to the River Humber near Hull to look at birds from Far Ings Nature Reserve. Fars Ings is made up of wetland habitats such as Reedbed, Wet Grassland, many lakes and Mudflat next to the River Estuary.
What Was Out Today?

I started from the Visitors Centre and walked down the path next to the Humber Estuary. Here I was lucky to see my first Bearded Tits.

The reserve has 6 different hides where you can watch different wetland birds. A local favorite is Ness Hide. Here, I managed to see a Marsh Harrier.

A bit further down the path are some scrubby shrubs, here I saw a few little woodland birds.

While walking back down the Humber Estuary I saw a few Wigeon and Redshank feeding in the mud. I also got a great view of the Humber Bridge.

What a delightful bird-watching adventure! The Bearded Tits are such a unique find, and the detailed sightings map adds a great touch. The Marsh Harrier and the little woodland birds are treasures, each with its charm. The scenic shots of Wigeon, Redshank, and the iconic Humber Bridge provide a beautiful backdrop to your birding experience. Thanks for sharing your day at Far Ings Nature Reserve – eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of "My Bird Watch"!
Thanks, hamzayousafzai12 for your kind words. Might do the next one in Cumbria, but you will have to wait and see.

Awesome photos, I love that robin, but the Bearded Tit definitely is my favourite. Funny enough in Bulgarian language it is actually called moustached tit.
Was a great day out today, if on the chilly side haha!
Some wonderful pictures here, the highlight was definitely the Bearded Tits we saw early on
