I'm going to tell you a story with the first thing that came to my mind when I saw both photos.
What better place is there to have a party than one where food abounds? If we share with our family and friends, be it talking, dancing or playing, it is better to do it by eating too or with a full belly.
If we drink liquor but don't eat we get drunk, if we dance while hungry we can faint.
In the case of the gray geese, it seems that they had everything to make the party a success.
They had a lot of food, ideal temperature, full attendance.
Ah, but a group breaker could not be missing.
One of the youngest guests had the audacity to notice a goose that already had a partner, so the dance and the feast turned into a hubbub.
Pecks here, pecks there, plucked here and others there, the squawking broke the peace in the lake, because they could be heard in the distance and even the fish fled.
Fortunately, Pepe reconsidered, he decided to go elsewhere and look for a partner where there were only single females. Everything returned to normal, he received the lesson of life from him and he did not pay attention to other people's women again.
Meanwhile, at another lake, another party was taking place.
Taking advantage of the arrival of spring and the abundance of food, the family of Red-billed Coots planned a meeting with a "crazy hour" moment.
Everything went perfectly, they swam, flapped and ate in harmony. When the scheduled time arrived, they began to move erratically while making sounds that resembled laughter.
It was crazy for those who saw it from the outside since it seemed to make no sense, but they knew that it did and that in this way they displayed their desire for freedom, to lose their inhibitions, to be children again, to find joy and be grateful for the fact to be alive.
And colorín colorado, this story is over, whoever stays seated stays stuck.
