Ah, inequalities do not cease, even when we are in a technological age. We have learned a lot, we are "modern", "civilized", but there are still gaps between people of different purchasing power, and with more or less privileges. We see that between members of the same family, between neighbors, between towns, countries. And animals do not escape this. If you don't believe me, just look at Julio's family, the guinea fowls.
His wife, children, brothers and nephews are prevented from passing through the glass door only because they have feathers and not hair, beaks and not snouts, whiskers and ears, like those smug cats.
And those poor ducks, relatives of Pablo, who have had to embark on an improvised raft, looking for opportunities to progress on another shore, because the leaders of their area, who are supposed to look after their well-being, only think of themselves. On the other hand, there are the most fortunate and spoiled, like Carla, the falcon, who have a master who is like her Butler, that feeds her, hugs her, gives shelter and warmth.
Also Rogelio, the pheasant, who was born beautiful, rich and with the talent to take measured steps, to the rhythm of reggae, with the excuse that it is difficult for him to walk on the thick layer of snow, and singing: "Lord I thank you for sunshine, thank you for rain, thank you for snow..., thank you for grains....🎵 🎶" (taken and modified from the song "It's a beautiful day", by Trinix x Rushaws. https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=j1ykEw42xCk)
