Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! For sure, I just love their adorable little legs. Cannot keep up with them, I look foolish running on the beach compared to their elegance.

Small seabirds tend to nest in debris on our dunes, relatively close to the sea, always keep off the dunes as much as possible or tread very carefully for fear of disturbing them.
Such a shame when you then see children playing in those areas and people with dogs that run freely. I sometimes want to enforce some kind of law, but no one listens today.
There are laws ignored, dogs seldom cause damage on beaches if people simply clean up wherever they roam. Parents no longer discipline children, parents can thank law makers for making this another difficult task to fulfill.
The future will be interesting with children growing up in environments where they are not disciplined and spoonfed.
Children have been given a dirty deal, lockdowns, school closures, pit toilets, child headed homes, child trafficking, no place for children to live any form of normal life unless they come from rich homes....
And then these rich kids live such isolated and "safe" lives that when they are confronted with life situations they do not know how to deal with it. I read somewhere about the joys of letting children play outside, with their friends, in parks and so on. There, they learn valuable life skills and how to deal with situations. Now, they are always behind a screen, stuck in homes. We are creating a whole generation of people who do not know how to think critical and who does not have problem resolving skills.
