European goldfinch on a conifer

There is a nice conifer and some other trees in the garden of the house where I live in. Because there is also a small pond, birds are attracted to the water here and from time to time they visit the garden. When I see them in the garden I try to get some pictures of the birds from my window. The European goldfinch's prefer food like small seeds such as those from thistles (Probably why the goldfinch is sometimes called Distelfink in German).
