These birds are probably one of my favorite ones because it is always so nice to watch them in their mating ritual, when they are building their nests. Stefan found this spot and we visited it several times in spring for some pictures and one day everything was perfect, the light, the birds and the spot. I took so many pictures of this couple doing their best to prepare their nest for their offspring. The great crested grebes are very beautiful in my opinion and watching them was really fun.
