Todays visit at the Nature Reserve Inn River with pictures of the White-tailed Eagle and Curlews

in Feathered Friends4 years ago (edited)

Today was a very lucky day for me! I was able to take some pictures of the White-tailed Eagle and this was my second encounter with this beautiful majestic bird. But not enough with this seldom sighting. I was also able to take several pictures of the Curlew, several kinds of geese, ducks and other waterbirds. But these pictures I will show you in another article here on Hive some time soon. Since the White-tailed Eagle and the Curlews are the birds that are pretty special and not so common it is their show today!

Unfortunately the Eagle flew very high, so I had to crop the picture a lot! So please don't expect brilliant images. It was such an amazing feeling when I managed to capture these pictures i still can feel the smile on my face the moment I saw it.

Now my next target is to get some brilliant pictures with better quality from these birds, but this is not easy, since they are very seldom and also pretty shy. But since I now know some places where they can possibly be seen, I just need to visit these places several times and some day I will have enough luck to get even better pictures of these majestetic birds. A little bit of research might help me also to maybe find even a better place where I can see them closer than now.

Excellent photos! I saw a bald eagle today and and I know how thrilling that is!

Thanks a lot. Yes it was an amazing experience, but very short also, the white tailed eagle was there only for seconds before it disappeared. I had luck that I was fast enough for some pictures.

Great shot! You deserve some tokens!
