Mrs. Hairy was tired of the same old bark day in and day out. It was always beech tree, sandalwood, birch, or some other common species within the local arboretum.
Today she would try something different. The Johnson's bird feeder! The Johnson family appreciated birds of all types but they couldn't stand the constant banging of Mrs. Hairy so early in the morning.
Having racked their brains for a way to stop the hammering of the bird, at least in the early hours, they came up with only one idea that seemed to have merit. The Seed Stick she was now so eagerly feasting upon!
As she pecked at the seeds on the stick, Mrs. Hairy kept looking up. She wondered why the human family in the window kept on staring and pointing at her.
Good one! Eating seeds is certainly quieter than banging on trees looking for bugs!
