Hello to all the friends that make life in the feathered friends community. I especially attend the invitation of my friend @melinda010100 who kindly invited me to publish in this community my art to which I am dedicated to drawing birds with the traditional freehand technique. This time I draw a cute cardinal I hope you like it.
The cardinal is a species of bird that lives in America in large lakes and throughout South America
They are birds of the genus passerines which belong to the cardinalidae family. I love this bird, its mating is very interesting when the male courts the female they both rock and raise their heads back and forth and both sing softly, how cute, right? and in the breeding season the male feeds the female.
The materials used were wood colors, graphite pencil, markers, white sheet of paper.
I did the step by step to draw the Cardinal.
I made a sketch of the cardinal and then started applying color to it.
How lovely! I do love seeing artwork that represents our Feathered Friends posted here! Cardinals are such lovely birds. Thanks for sharing this with us!
