These baby robins were fun to watch through the window. They had their beaks open whenever they were awake!

This young goldfinch has a thistle seed from the feeder in it's mouth and has a slightly open beak.

This young bluejay has it's beak open wide waiting for a parent to bring food. Even after they have become adept at finding their own food, they still beg for food from their parents.

This cropped photo of a baltimore oriole shows it's slightly open beak.

And I'll end with this female cardinal who has a mouthful of a sunflower seed taken from the seed block.

Oh, these little ones, they are always with open beaks.
Funny how demanding they are, when they are grown.

Thanks, my friend!, I do have plenty of birds around, although it is difficult with all the leaves on the trees to get good photos of them this time of year. Being able to watch the birds does keep me entertained!
