Canada Geese are tough birds; they don't all fly south for the winter and can withstand our weather if needed. So long as they have open bodies of water to float on, they can find food and do very well. They can be fierce when defending their young and wouldn't be the type of bird you would want to mess with. They can also be friendly and peaceful. I will often see pairs of them hanging out and roaming around some field. They can stick pretty close together once they mate and remind me of old couples who have been with each other their whole lives.
