My answer to Feathered Friends Comment Contest:

Greetings to @melinda010100, I do not have a story of this Woodpecker, I will only express what I imagine:

I see that the bird observes that trunk of the tree behind the cage, and they, being birds, their nature is to freely see the sky and they know the trees in all their branches and angles. He is identifying that there is something out of the ordinary here.

There are people who do not learn to be as detailed as this sweet bird, sometimes we have barriers in front of what we want and we are unable to observe in detail to reach our desired goal. I'm sure that does not happen to this woodpecker, he watches a lot here, including that they take photos of him.

It also seems to me that the bird is observing that there are no ramifications of this tree trunk, it is possible that because it is feminine, it is also trying to find where to make a nest to have its little birds, the nature of all women is the protection of their children, she is very observant and quiet here to look for comfort, and to do what a woodpecker bites like.

This is how we should act, observe before eating and enjoy what we like.
