I will start with something sad. Yesterday I saw what was left from a kestrel in front of our entrance. The cats had a feast. Which is something natural, birds die, but it is so sad to see it like that. A gorgeous bird that I have watched for months, perching on a jutting pipe not far from home. Visible even with the naked eye and now is gone. I am sorry I started with sad thoughts, but I felt I needed to share them.
Now, since this contest must bring joy and to have fun when you make photos of our feathered friends, let's have some funny photos, shall we? Let's not forget, life is short, we have to enjoy every minute.
Now, what I would like to see is your photo of bird that brings smile.
Here are my examples:

- Your photo must follow the weekly theme.

- Put in the title of your post that this is an entry for the contest. (Optional)
- Use #smap as a tag.
If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes and attract curators. Keep that in mind.
