One of my friends had two birds that was all over him every day, picking at his ears and sleeping on his chest. Then he ended up in hospital for a long period and both birds died.
So one must take care that a bird doesn't become too dependent, as they have to be taught self reliance. Take care that she doesn't become too dependent on you.

Well the longterm plan is to eventually get her socialised with other birds so she can go to live happily with them in a sanctuary.
