These are Tufted Titmouse that come to my feeders on a regular basis. This summer I was lucky enough to catch 2 of them together. I love their little tufts on the top of the head gives them a punk rocker mohawk look. These little guys are fast and acrobatic, hard to get good captures. As soon as I get my camera focused they are gone. The Tufted Titmouse is a year round bird in Missouri, so I get the opportunity to see them all year.
This is one of my favorite birds, all though I may say that of every bird, because who doesn't love birds in all colors sizes and personalities.
Great photo for the contest. Don't you love those cylinder feeders? They are simply the easiest to store and refill the feeders with! The birds love them I have two of them on my deck, one that is inside a cage that the woodpeckers love best, and the other hangs right beside my window and I love being able to see the birds up close. It's great to see a Feathered Friends post from you again!
I do love the cylinder feeders, my woodpeckers love them and get mad if I run out of them lol. I have all types of feeders for all of the birds to maximize their enjoyment. It's good to be back I slacked off for a while.
What an amazing bird Tufted Titmouse is!
They do like rock stars. 😀
Thank you for your entry.
