Despite us being greeted by the Bluejays, Mother nature also decided to wish us a cold welcome back. By the time it stopped snowing, 16 inches of snow blanked the landscape.
As good of a time we had, there is no place like home.
Yes, my sense of humor is still intact.
Thanks for the beer and pizza my friend, your generosity is always greatly appreciated!
I hope all is well with you and your family.
On a different subject, the war in Ukraine has been hard to wrap our heads around. To see so many innocent people dying, injured or trying to make their way to safety has been hard to watch and even harder to understand. It's times like this when your faith is tested and you start to wonder how such cruelty can continue to occur.
Images of such brutality raining down on women and children is unfathomable. Robin is in tears almost everyday and besides our prayers and monetary support we feel helpless.
I know that you experience scenes of injustice on a regular basis and I'm not sure how you deal with it.
God bless.
They say that home is where the heart is and you are right. There is a stark difference between snowy landscapes and hot beaches. But as humans we are able to adapt to our situations.
The humor factor was just a chirp to raise a smile.
Yes, we are praying that the Ukrainian war will not spark a nuclear contest otherwise we will all be in for it. We had some terrible situations here where the women and children of our fighters were rounded up on the farms and placed into concentration camps. Thousands died of malnutrition in those camps, so in my mind war doesn't differentiate between it's casualties.
Incidentally, last night we had our private communion service here at home and the theme was "Lord your will be done", so we trust and we pray. That's how we deal with it, as we trust only in Him.
Blessings also to guys.

To believe so deeply, without question, is why you are who you are. That attitude is uplifting and is the reason for the the lives you have influenced in such a positive way.
When will all of this madness end?
I think you you know the value of trusting our God with everything and in the current state of tis world, He is the only one to turn to.
Our calling is to sow the seed and I know that we will not see the growth, or the successes in the future, but that is not my worry as then our job was done.
Some will plant (us), others will water and yet others will reap the fruits.
As I said somewhere else here in the replies, the dark forces are causing havoc across the world and even the weather is going crazy. One can feel that something big is going to happen.
What it is I do not know.
