Hello friends in Feathered Friends Community, my post today is to contribute to Show Me a Photo Contest Round 205. Admin @nelinoeva gave a free theme for this Sunday's edition. So I will join the photo contest round 205 with the title white egret in the rice field.
in our village now is the rice harvest season, every day the farmers start harvesting their yellow rice and some have started to cultivate the land to enter the rice planting season again. When I came home from work at 15.00 WIB I passed farmers who were working in the fields. One of the farmers was irrigating their rice fields. Several white egrets were seen circling around the farmer.
The egrets knew that they would find delicious food in the form of worms, so they followed the farmer who was cultivating his rice field. The egrets were seen busy looking for worms, frogs and other small animals, they began to dig up the soil around them and hoped to find delicious food for them to eat.
These egrets don't seem to like yellow rice. I saw rice that was starting to turn yellow around them, but they didn't want to eat it. They preferred to look for worms and other small animals hiding in the soil.
They like to be in groups and enjoy the results of hunting together, I rarely see egrets separated from their group.
Thank you @nelinoeva for this fun photo contest, it makes me closer to nature and enjoy the beautiful scenery with charming birds every time I take their photos.
Thank you to my friends who have read my post.

You are welcome @hive-106444
It looks like there is plenty to eat in the rice field. We don't see these birds around our neck of the woods. We will soon be headed to Florida and we get a chance to see these magnificent birds there. Nice entry.
Thanks for your information @thebigsweed 💕
