Canada Goose Up Close and Supervising - Feathered Friends

When I lived in England, I loved walking around the lake in Warminster's Riverside Park. The best time was in the spring and summer when all the ducks and geese were supervising their offspring...

Here's a pair of shots I took in 2008.

But don't get complacent... there's a reason this goose is super attentive - and not swimming away!

It was fun watching these babies grow over the seasons... The cycle of life always brings new hope in its season.

Even now, in humanity's dark days of fear and panic, there is reason to hope for new life. With little else to do and a shortage of condoms (and non-essential doctor's visits), there's anticipation of a baby boom for winter and spring 2021. Life will go on - it always does.

Great picture, such detail.

Thanks! I love it when things turn out so nicely.

Hi @viking-ventures, so glad you stopped by. Hope you and yours are well and safe. I am finally figuring out this new platform as well as PEAKD. Reading about all the communities and trying to get involved to help #hive grow. I miss #fff though, that was my first experience with blogging and I so enjoyed the company.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I will keep posting for #fff... we'll make something happen, I'm sure!
It was sad that we had to Hive off, but I think it's turning into a great thing.

Great shots, really cool angle!

Thanks! They were fun shots to take.

Lovely photos and a wonderfully positive message! Springtime brings so much new life, and I only hope that if there is a baby boom that every single one of them is wanted and loved! Thanks for posting these lovely photos to #featheredfriends ❤️. !Tip

Thanks! I also hope that these children are wanted/loved even though they may be inconvenient (babies always are!) They're also the best cure for these troubled times.

Thanks for the tip as well.

Hm, something went wrong with the comment, but I think I`ve managed to send the tip ;)

Looks like I needed a space before the ! Thanks for being so smart, tipu. ❤️

Lovely shots! Spring is finally here. Yes, I agree that the next spring will bring a baby boom. As soon as the quarantine will be done, we might also see a higher divorce rate.
