Sky is No limit if we have fortitude to fly - quote by yours truly😀
Birds soaring high above the earth inspire us to use our wings. We humans do not have physical wings but we have wings of imagination, rational thought, courage and action...
Why do we have to soar high anyways? Well- we need to get a 'birds eye view' of life once in a while. We are usually too close to everything happening all around us. Emotions, passions, anxiety etc. cloud our brain and prevent us from seeing the whole picture
We have to take a deep breath, calm down and soar high above everything else - detached from ground reality and take a birds eye view - like this oriental honey buzzard...

Take a Bird's eye view Oriental Honey buzzard

Usually, I prefer to take pictures of eagle and raptors at eye level and with a background of green if possible. It is just more pleasing to see them that way. I have to climb mountains and hillocks to be able to do that.
However, every once in a while, a raptor spotted flying high overhead impresses me with the wingspan and the lovely pattern on wings. It also gives me a sense of how high once can soar if one tries. So, I end up clicking a picture.
Like this crested hawk eagle for example ... Just look at the lovely wing span..

Soaring high... Crested hawk eagle

After about 3 hours of climbing a hill nearby, I caught the same crested hawk eagle (probably the same because there was only one seen in that area that morning), still flying high but I was higher than it 😀

Seen a raptor from ABOVE? Crested hawk eagle

It was fun to see a raptor flying high from a level higher than it!
There was this one time when I happened to see a mighty raptor, Bonelli's eagle flying high. It is one of my favorite raptors because of it's strength and speed. It can easily carry away small lambs and kill fawns with a swooping attack from above. We can see it's thick powerful wings and strong body in this picture I captured..

Personally, it is so inspiring for me to see all these birds soar high. I love to watch them.
Hope you enjoyed seeing them and it inspires you to soar high, using your imagination, rational thought, courage and wisdom. Rise high above the daily grind and get clarity of purpose in life. All the best !
Now, without further ado, let me state my entry for the #SMAP 86 contest and the reason for it...

Just to remind you not to forget to sdd the link of your post.
I had forgotten to add the link of my post in the comments of the contest post. Thanks for reminding.@nelinoeva As usual, you flatter me with all the praise. It feels wonderful to participate in the contest.
Those are magnificent :) Is the Oriental Honey Buzzard a hunter or a scavenger???
Can I please use one of the pictures in Let Our Picture Tell Your Story, giving you full credit?

Please do use the picture for the contest. It will be an honor. Thanks@wrestlingdesires Thank you for appreciating my pictures. The oriental honey buzzard is mostly a scavenger - it loves eating honey, larvae from the hive etc. Hence the name.
PS - sorry for the delay in reply. I was traveling and could not log on.
No problem, but unfortunately I couldn't wait :( ... Maybe I can use one of yours in the next edition :)
