I have not posted anything in the Feathered Friends community since one month (the last time I published a post in this community was on 2024.12.24).
First of all, both my Harris's hawk and I am also good.
Nowadays I just spend very little time online.
Two weeks ago (on 2025.01.06) I wrote in the Daily Blog community that I am preparing to move.
This post is just a short update about that.
I will certainly not move to the north part of the island in the near future (in the next three months).
But theoretically there are a few other options.
One of my friends will arrive on the island around the middle of the next month (in February).
I will talk to him personally too.
We briefly talked on Facebook Messenger so far, and if everything will be good, then I will make an agreement with him about a proper housing (living in a caravan on a plot with proper wired electricity and proper tap water).
This would be somewhere on the south part of the island.
And there are a few other options too.
Still nothing is certain yet, but the intention to move to live in a better place than a tent.
We will see what the future will bring.
Either way, the main thing is that both my Harris's hawk and I am also good.
So we are both good.
My bird currently have a proper place mostly in the shadows with a perch.
She enjoys sitting on it.
And apart from sleeping in a tent, I also enjoy my life, and I try to get the best out of the current situation.
what comment would you expect? I mean very cool birds and stuff for real!
Anything, which would show actual interest in what I write.
For example in the proper Facebook groups, people always write something good, and they always encourage me to post more often, even though nowadays I spend very little time online.
People ask how I am, how the things are going, if I have help, etc.
They write useful/helpful tips and suggestions.
For example recently I received a few suggestions for places to stay.
Even if some of these places would be only temporary, I am still grateful for these suggestions.
Because anything is a better accomodation than a tent.
But it is not easy to move to live in another place with a bird (or with any animal in general).
People usually do not rent their house/room, if you have an animal.
So renting anything is almost completely excluded in this case.
Theoretically I found a solution (caravan in a plot), but that is depending on an upcoming agreement with someone in the middle of February, when he will arrive on the island.
that sounds cool a caravan, maybe a good soloution!
