The last time I posted about us was exactly two months ago: Water with probiotics for my Harris's hawk (2023.01.31).
My bird was under professional (veterinarian) care since February. She was full of feather lice. This is why she became weak, and this is why her feathers fallen out. She received the proper veterinarian care. She recovered from this. The condition of my bird was started to get better and better. More than one week ago she ate six or seven chicks per day. Her condition was very promising. But she suddenly, unexpectedly died around the morning of the monday of the last week (on 2023.03.20).
According to the veterinarian necropsy, the cause of the death was heart failure. The size of the heart of my Harris's hawk was different from normal, but the veterinarian necropsy could not determine the reason of this.
I miss my bird very much. I am very sad. I feel emptiness. I cried for days mostly in the evenings after I received the news on the Tuesday of the last week (on 2023.03.21).
I am trying not to collapse emotionally.
We (my brother and me) are still together. Still in the same house, because we still have not found a rent.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, @xplosive. I was worried when I saw you hadn't posted in a while. My wife and I recently lost our dog so we know how painful it can be. We send our condolences.
Have not been keeping up with events alas, learning of your travel my thought was to what happened to your sweet Harris Hawk. Life is not easy I think you have done right by going away. Pets are so much part of who we are, yours was a special bonding.
