Introduction
Box Contents
The earphone comes in a cute yellow pack, Nothing fancy there as you can see below
Inside we get the earphone case (obviously), a small charging cable (that I never had to use), additional silicone ear tips (earbuds come with a medium-sized one pre-installed), and a user manual.
Review
1. Design
Let's talk design first, talking about the case the first thing that comes to my mind is that it is super smooth but finely textured, this makes it vulnerable to slipping and falling from your hands, so forget about opening the case with one hand. Behind the case, you get to see the micro-USB port for charging the device
Let's now move on to the design of our earbuds
Now looking at the earbuds we see that it does not have an elongated part that comes down your ear as you see on the apple earpods, this is going to be a bit weird when you wear them cause you will feel like earphones are going to fall off but that goes away as you start to use them more frequently. The earphones also have this nice pattern finishing on their surface, it kinda looks good in my opinion.
PROS
1. Audio Quality
I seriously didn't expect the sound quality to be this good, It's a solid 9/10. I love bass and the buds q2 neo delivers. The highs and lows are also great, the noise isolations add to the overall experience. We even get a dedicated bass mode if you want to switch things up a bit and that brings us to our second feature that I like. The device also supports high-quality audio mode/ AAC
2. App Support
This is where realme shines in my opinion because unlike most budget or even high-end TWS earphones the buds q2 neo supports the tweaking through the realme link app.
We get to choose from 3 modes one for bass, one for clarity and one for balanced mode. These modes are evident and make all the difference if you consider yourself to be an enthusiast.
We also get to set all sorts of gestures, it's nice to have this feature in case you want to take complete control of how you want to manage your media playbacks
3. Price
I got this during a discount sale for 899 INR or 12 USD, that is a really good deal as this is usually listed for 1599 INR OR 21 USD, but having used this earphone I can guarantee that buying one without a discount is also worth it as you get a really good sounding TWS earphone.
Cons
1. Case design
As you might have expected the case design is terrible, I could think of multiple occasions where I almost dropped the case cause I couldn't get a proper grip.
Another annoying issue with the case is the charging pins, They sometimes fail to get in contact with the earphones, so you have to make sure that both of your earphones were successfully disconnected once you place them on the case, because if they got disconnected then that means that they are properly placed in the case.
2. Lack of remaining battery indication for case
This is also one of the things which bug me, We only get one lead that turns green when the case charges 100% and that's about it, I wished we get to see how much battery we had left like we could see with the earphones in the realme link app.
Is it just for me or happening to everyone? Texts are not visible while viewing it from ecency. But while viewed from Peakd texts are visible.

That's because author of post used some class from Ecency that does hide text. We will change that class/style with next update. Thanks for mentioning and reporting.
In night theme the text is visible
Nice details, we just pushed a fix. It should be visible now. 👍
yes, it's visible now
For that price it seems to me a very interesting option. I have not yet seen this type of Realme headphones here in my area, I will be watching because it would be a good choice.
Thank you for reading, hope you get a good deal too 🤞
