Hacía tiempo que no realizaba un unboxing especial para la comunidad, últimamente mi hermano y yo hemos comprado gran cantidad de gadgets para fotografía porque es parte de su trabajo pero siempre termino olvidando hacer las fotografías y documentar el proceso de unboxing. Pero la semana pasada ya era imposible para mi continuar trabajando en el Pc con un mouse que ya había alcanzado su limite de vida, así que decidí comprar un nuevo mouse esta vez con un enfoque más gamer y es lo que hoy quiero compartirte. ¡Comencemos!
Hello dear Geek Zone community! It's been a while since I did a special unboxing for the community. Lately my brother and I have bought a lot of photography gadgets because it's part of his job but I always end up forgetting to take the pictures and document the unboxing process. But last week it was impossible for me to continue working on the PC with a mouse that had already reached its life limit, so I decided to buy a new mouse this time with a more gamer focus and that's what I want to share with you today. Let's get started!
En 2024 he realizado unboxings de mouse, uno de mi sobrino y uno que tuve que comprar el último trimestre del año. Entonces, ¿Porqué traigo otro unboxing de mouse? Pues resulta que mi pequeño sobrino esta jugando de forma tryhard juegos FPS online desde WarZone, pasando por Bloostrike hasta llegar a Fortnite y Call of Duty asi que cuando vino a visitarme me dijo que su mouse ya no le estaba respondiendo como antes. Así que le di mi mouse gamer y me quede con su viejo mouse que puedes ver en la foto de la derecha pero pronto comenzó a darme problemas hasta el punto que ya no podía arrastar cosas con él y constantemente hacía doble click. Fue así que decidí ir a la tienda electrónica Daka donde había comprado mi anterior mouse y del que estaba muy satisfecho.
In 2024, I've done mouse unboxings, one of my nephew's and one I had to buy in the last quarter of the year. So, why am I bringing another mouse unboxing? Well, it turns out my little nephew is trying hard to play online FPS games from WarZone to Bloostrike to Fortnite and Call of Duty, so when he came to visit me, he told me his mouse wasn't responding like it used to. So I gave him my gaming mouse and kept his old one, which you can see in the photo on the right. But it soon started giving me problems, to the point where I couldn't drag anything with it anymore and it was constantly double-clicking. So I decided to go to the Daka electronics store where I had bought my previous mouse and was very happy with it.
El mouse que anteriormente compre aquí era un Hp que decía ser gaming, pero honestamente, la impresión que me daba es que era un mouse de oficina con iluminación RGB. Por esto decidí dárselo a mi sobrino e ir pensando en un mouse gaming para mi Pc, por lo que al averiarse este viejo mouse aceleró mi decisión. Al llegar a la tienda me recomendaron uno que no conocía pero por todas las especificaciones técnicas era casi idéntico al mouse gamer Steel Series de Diablo 3, ya con eso tenía toda mi atención.
The mouse I previously bought there was an HP mouse that claimed to be gaming, but honestly, the impression I got was that it was an office mouse with RGB lighting. So, I decided to give it to my nephew and start thinking about a gaming mouse for my PC. When this old mouse broke, it accelerated my decision. When I got to the store, they recommended one I wasn't familiar with, but based on all the technical specifications, it was almost identical to the Diablo 3 Steel Series gaming mouse. That already had my full attention.

2 elementos fueron los que me impulsaron a comprar este mouse gamer MSi Forger GM300, la primera es que es simétrico es decir puede ser usado para zurdos y derechos sin perder comodidad, yo soy ambidiestro cuando juego me gusta usar la derecha mientras la izquierda la tengo en el teclado pero cuando estoy haciendo experimentos como modelaje de proteínas en Pc o registrando valores en un espectrofotómetro me gusta usar la izquierda mientras hago anotaciones en mi cuaderno de protocolos de los valores obtenidos. Así que este mouse viene perfecto para las 2 cosas: ¡gaming y trabajo!
Two factors motivated me to purchase this MSi Forger GM300 gaming mouse. The first is that it's symmetrical, meaning it can be used by left- or right-handed users without sacrificing comfort. I'm ambidextrous when I play, so I like to use my right hand while keeping my left hand on the keyboard. However, when I'm conducting experiments like protein modeling on a PC or recording values on a spectrophotometer, I like to use my left hand while making notes of the values obtained in my logbook. So, this mouse is perfect for both purposes: gaming and work!
El segundo detalle que me gustó en este mouse es la durabilidad y rendimiento, 10 millones de clicks los mismos que asegura la edición coleccionista de Steel Series, justo lo que busco en una herramienta que estoy seguro que usaré regularmente en casa y trabajo. Su peso es bastante ligero y la extensión de su cable más que suficiente para un Pc de escritorio.
The second detail I liked about this mouse is its durability and performance. 10 million clicks, the same as the Steel Series Collector's Edition, are guaranteed, just what I'm looking for in a tool I'm sure I'll use regularly at home and at work. Its weight is quite light, and its cable extension is more than enough for a desktop PC.

El color que escogí fue el negro ya que hace un buen contraste con la iluminación RGB, pero volviendo al mouse además de tener los botones derechos e izquierdos tiene otros 4: 2 de ellos están detrás de la rueda de desplazamiento el primero de ellos varía la sensibilidad del puntero con 4 velocidades y el segundo nos permite variar la iluminación RGB en el mouse.
The color I chose was black since it makes a good contrast with the RGB lighting, but returning to the mouse, in addition to having the right and left buttons, it has 4 others: 2 of them are behind the scroll wheel, the first of them varies the sensitivity of the pointer with 4 speeds and the second allows us to vary the RGB lighting on the mouse.

Los otros 2 botones restantes están en el lateral izquierdo que pueden configurarse para el gaming ubicando acciones que si usáramos un mouse de oficina tendríamos que usarlo en el teclado. Recientemente he estado retomando juegos de estrategia como el Command & Conquer Tiberium Sun o Star Craft 2: Legacy of the Void y ciertamente son una gran ayuda estos botones.
The other two buttons are on the left side and can be configured for gaming, placing actions that, if we were using an office mouse, we would have to use on the keyboard. I've recently been getting back into strategy games like Command & Conquer: Tiberium Sun or Star Craft 2: Legacy of the Void, and these buttons are certainly a great help.
Conectando el mouse al Pc/Connecting the mouse to the PC
Luego de apreciar este gadget y leer las instrucciones, procedimos a conectarlo al Pc, el reconocimiento fue inmediato y esto se notó con la hermosa iluminación del mouse. El escudo del dragón destaca con hermoso detalle pero no se limita alli porque también la iluminación recorre los laterales del mouse.
After appreciating this gadget and reading the instructions, we proceeded to connect it to the PC. Recognition was immediate, and this was evident in the mouse's beautiful lighting. The dragon shield stands out in beautiful detail, but it doesn't stop there because the lighting also runs along the sides of the mouse.

Una vez reconocido, configuramos la velocidad con el primer botón superior, son 4 velocidades 1200, 2400, 4800 y 7200 Dpi, como actualmente estoy escribiendo blogs y retomando juego RTS es suficiente 2400 Dpi. En cuanto al color, para el día me gustan los colores blanco y azul, pero para la noche me gusta el rojo.
Once recognized, we configure the speed with the first button at the top. There are four speeds: 1200, 2400, 4800, and 7200 DPI. Since I'm currently writing blogs and getting back into RTS games, 2400 DPI is sufficient. As for the color, I prefer white and blue during the day, but red is my favorite at night.

Y bien amigos, puse a prueba el mouse creando este post y es una verdadera maravilla, bastante suave y ergonómico. En cuanto a juegos ya le dedique varias horas al Loop Hero y fue bastante cómodo, ahora solo me falta exigirlo con un juego más trepidante como The Hunter: Call of the Wild así que solo estoy esperando a que mi amigo @morenow tenga un tiempo libre para ir de caza. En general este mouse es un sólido 10 para mi, desde la ergonomía, simetría hasta el diseño son sobresalientes, solo queda esperar si su durabilidad es tal cual la que dice afirmar la casa comercial. Well, friends, I put the mouse to the test while creating this post, and it's truly wonderful—quite smooth and ergonomic. As for gaming, I've already spent several hours playing Loop Hero, and it was quite comfortable. Now I just need to push it with a more exciting game like The Hunter: Call of the Wild, so I'm just waiting for my friend @morenow to have some free time to go hunting. Overall, this mouse is a solid 10 for me; everything from ergonomics and symmetry to design is outstanding. It only remains to be seen whether its durability lives up to the brand's claims. Tremenda compra Bro felicidades. Activo para irnos de caza, pude ser hoy o cuando gustes pero debe ser en la noche que es cuando tengo tiempo para ponerme las botas y tomar mis armas.
Eso de los botones esta brutal, a mi me toca cambiar de mouse también, espero poder hacerlo pronto, aunque puedo comprar uno económico de $6 estoy optando por reunir un poco más para comprar uno como este que acabas de adquirir.

Yo si decía amigo que ya había visto un unboxing tuyo hace tiempo de un mouse jeje pero que bien que apoyaste a tu sobrino y ahora tienes un buen mouse para ti. Yo soy un poco quisquilloso con los gadgets, me urge un mouse pero para usarlo para la animación, que me permita fijar acciones en varios botones, este tiene buena pinta, gracias por la reseña.
