El día de ayer estuve compartiendo la primera parte de esta aventura en la cual me he metido de lleno, para todo aquel que guste le puede echar un vistazo ingresando aquí. Había dejado todo listo para empezar a realizar el mantenimiento profundo en la parte inferior de la placa, pero me surgió un detalle bastante negativo, y es que, la carcasa esta bastante frágil y sumado a esto varios de los tornillos están aislados, esto me imposibilita poder retirar la carcasa por completo, pero a pesar de todo esto la tapa que cubre todos los componentes salió sin problemas y fue desde que logre por lo menos hacerle un buen mantenimiento de limpieza a la zona del procesador, en realidad era esta parte la que más me importaba.
Yesterday I was sharing the first part of this adventure in which I've been fully involved, for anyone who likes you can take a look by clicking here. I had left everything ready to begin to perform the deep maintenance on the bottom of the board, but I had a very negative detail, and is that the case is quite fragile and added to this several of the screws are isolated, this makes it impossible to remove the case completely, but despite all this the cover that covers all components came out without problems and was since I managed to at least do a good cleaning maintenance to the processor area, in fact it was this part that mattered most to me.
Cuando pude quitar todo el componente del disipador de calor, tuve acceso al procesador y me encontré exactamente con lo que esperaba, una pasta térmica vencida muy dura y casi adherida a la superficie del procesador. En este tipo de caso lo mejor es tener una estación de calor que permita ir derritiendo esa pasta térmica vencida, pero era algo que no tenía a la mano, así que tuve que improvisar con Alcohol Antiséptico e hisopos, aplique esto con mucho cuidado, ya que, la pasta térmica estaba bastante dura, fui removiendo poco a poco haciendo movimientos circulares hasta el punto que la pasta térmica empezó a ceder y se fue despegando poco a poco. Al final logre removerla toda obteniendo un gran resultado, el procesador quedo intacto y muy limpio, listo para volver a ruedo nuevamente 😁.
When I was able to remove the entire heat sink component, I had access to the processor and found exactly what I expected, a very hard and almost stuck to the surface of the processor. In this type of case the best thing to do is to have a heat station that allows to melt the expired thermal paste, but it was something that I did not have at hand, so I had to improvise with Antiseptic Alcohol and swabs, I applied this very carefully, since the thermal paste was quite hard, I was removing it little by little making circular movements until the thermal paste began to give in and it was peeling off little by little. In the end I managed to remove it all getting a great result, the processor was intact and very clean, ready to go back to roll again 😁.
Me sentí bastante satisfecho con lo que había logrado hasta ese momento, todo iba bastante bien y estaba bastante seguro que todo iba a funcionar, también aproveche de darle una buena limpieza a todo el componente del disipador de calor, el cual, estaba lleno de polvo. Para este componente también aplique el mismo procedimiento con el Alcohol Antiséptico, a decir verdad los resultados de limpieza estaban quedando muy bien, todo se empezaba a ver muy pulcro internamente.
I felt quite satisfied with what I had achieved so far, everything was going pretty well and I was pretty sure that everything was going to work, I also took the opportunity to give a good cleaning to the entire component of the heat sink, which was full of dust. For this component I also applied the same procedure with the Antiseptic Alcohol, to tell the truth the cleaning results were looking very good, everything was starting to look very neat internally.
Después de todo el mantenimiento espere unos 5 minutos y empecé armar toda la parte del procesador nuevamente, la diferencia era bastante notable, todo se veía impecable. Ahora tenía que corroborar la temperatura, al encender la laptop me di cuenta que empezaba a notarse la mejora, su inicio al sistema operativo fue mucho más rápido y todo se cargo perfectamente.
Ejecute el administrador de tareas para monitorear el rendimiento del procesador y todo estaba funcionando de maravilla, las altas temperaturas en el procesador habían desaparecido por completo.
After all the maintenance I waited about 5 minutes and started to assemble all the processor part again, the difference was quite noticeable, everything looked impeccable. Now I had to corroborate the temperature, when I turned on the laptop I realized that I started to notice the improvement, its start to the operating system was much faster and everything loaded perfectly.
I ran the task manager to monitor the performance of the processor and everything was working great, the high temperatures in the processor had completely disappeared.
Me sorprendió ver los niveles de temperatura tan bajos, esperaba que estuvieran un poco más por encima, por el hecho, de no tener pasta térmica. Me puse a indagar sobre el procesador el cual es un Intel Core i5-3230M de 3era Generación y me lleve la grata sorpresa que este procesador maneja un TDP bastante bajo de solo 35W, es decir, que puede trabajar perfectamente sin pasta térmica, aunque lo más recomendable es que todo procesador tenga siempre su pasta térmica, pero por lo menos en mi caso la estaré usando así por un tiempo y con la tranquilidad que no sufra algún percance por alta temperatura.
I was surprised to see the temperature levels so low, I expected them to be a bit higher, due to the fact that I didn't have thermal paste. I started to inquire about the processor which is an Intel Core i5-3230M 3rd Generation and I was pleasantly surprised that this processor manages a fairly low TDP of only 35W, that is, it can work perfectly without thermal paste, although it is recommended that every processor always has its thermal paste, but at least in my case I will be using it this way for a while and with the peace of mind that it will not suffer any mishap due to high temperature.
Estuve haciendo otras pruebas de rendimiento al procesador poniéndolo a trabajar de lleno y no me ha surgido ningún tipo de problemas, estaba trabajando muy bien, así que hasta este punto puedo decir que he hecho un gran trabajo de momento.
Ahora trabajaré en función del sistema operativo, ahora mismo tiene instalado Windows 7, el cual es un sistema operativo bastante obsoleto. Tengo pensado sacarle el mejor rendimiento y ya tengo el sistema operativo ideal para esta Laptop, pero tomando en cuenta también que solo tiene 4GB de Memoria RAM, puedo decir, que esto es un poco negativo, pero aun así se puede hacer algo con ella y estoy seguro que por lo menos a mi me servirá mucho en todo este tiempo que me mantendré lejos de mi PC ordenador.

I was doing other performance tests to the processor putting it to work fully and I have not encountered any problems, it was working very well, so up to this point I can say that I have done a great job so far.
Now I will work on the operating system, right now it has Windows 7 installed, which is a pretty obsolete operating system. I plan to get the best performance and I already have the ideal operating system for this laptop, but also taking into account that it only has 4GB of RAM, I can say that this is a bit negative, but still you can do something with it and I'm sure that at least to me it will serve me a lot in all this time that I will stay away from my PC computer.
