Hace un poco más de 14 días que me encuentro fuera de casa, es decir, fuera de mi zona de confort por decirlo de algún modo. Mi PC Ordenador a quedado lejos de momento y no tenía seguridad de poder hacer alguna otra publicación, aunque lo estoy intentando desde mi celular pero es un poco tedioso, no me siento nada cómodo trabajando en mi blog desde este tipo de dispositivo.
Antes de salir de casa un amigo me comento que tenía una Laptop y que esta tenía mucho tiempo sin funcionar, no sabía más detalles. Tengo conocimientos en software y hardware, más del primero que del segundo, pero puedo decir que me defiendo bastante bien e incluso soy capaz de dar un buen diagnostico.
Cuando me mostro la laptop me di cuenta que era de la marca VIT, le di vuelta y pude ver que era el modelo P2402, me pareció bastante interesante este modelo, los había visto antes y sé que sus especificaciones son bastante decentes. Después de hablar durante un rato con mi amigo quedamos en que me llevaría la Laptop e intentaría arreglarla.
It's been a little more than 14 days since I was away from home, that is, out of my comfort zone, so to speak. My PC computer is far away for the moment and I was not sure I could make any other publication, although I am trying from my cell phone but it is a bit tedious, I do not feel comfortable working on my blog from this kind of device.
Before leaving home a friend told me that he had a laptop and that it had a long time without working, I did not know more details. I have knowledge in software and hardware, more of the first one than the second one, but I can say that I defend myself quite well and I am even able to give a good diagnosis.
When he showed me the laptop I realized it was a VIT laptop, I turned it over and I could see it was the P2402 model, I found this model quite interesting, I had seen them before and I know their specs are pretty decent. After talking for a while with my friend we agreed that I would take the laptop and try to fix it.
Después de pasado algunos días desde que llegue a la casa de mi suegra, me puse manos a la obra con la Laptop. Una vez que pude darle un vistazo más de cerca pude notar que estaba en muy mal estado, no solo podía tener problemas a nivel técnico o de sistema, si no, que también la carcasa estaba bastante maltratada, tuve que ser muy cuidadoso al empezar a desarmarla.
After a few days had passed since I arrived at my mother-in-law's house, I got to work on the laptop. Once I could take a closer look I could notice that it was in very bad shape, not only it could have technical or system problems, but also the case was pretty bad, I had to be very careful when I started to disassemble it.
El teclado de la Laptop brilla por su ausencia así que no tuve complicaciones para empezar a revisar en la parte superior, a penas empecé a revisar me pude dar cuenta que la pieza que asegura el conector para el flex del botón de encendido, estaba levantado y el conector estaba aguantado solo por una de sus esquinas. Solo coloque el conector de la forma correcta y lo asegure, al meterle corriente, la Laptop felizmente volvió a prender 😅. Después de esto empecé a sacar algunas posibles conclusiones tomando en cuenta detalles muy puntuales, estoy seguro que esta Laptop se pudo haber caído de alguna parte alta, lo que provoco que la carcasa se rompiera y al mismo tiempo del mismo golpe, provoco que el flex del boton del encendido se desajustará. La verdad no tengo idea cuanto tiempo paso, pero me puse triste al pensar que esta buena laptop estuvo inoperativa por tanto tiempo y por algo tan simple... Increíble!!!
The keyboard of the laptop is conspicuous by its absence so I had no complications to start checking the top, as soon as I started to check I could realize that the piece that secures the connector for the power button flex, was lifted and the connector was held only by one of its corners. I just put the connector in the right way and secured it, when I put power into it, the laptop happily turned back on 😅. After this I started to draw some possible conclusions taking into account very specific details, I am sure that this laptop could have fallen from somewhere high, which caused the casing to break and at the same time the same blow, caused the flex of the power button to become loose. I have no idea how much time passed, but I was sad to think that this good laptop was inoperative for so long and for something so simple.... Unbelievable!!!
A pesar de haberla regresado a la vida algo paso, así como encendió sin ningún tipo de problemas, haciéndole la revisión del sistema se apago de la nada y esto me puso sobre alerta. en vista de esto procedí a quitar la parte de arriba de la carcasa.
In spite of having returned it to life something happened, just as it turned on without any problems, doing the system check it turned off out of nowhere and this put me on alert. in view of this I proceeded to remove the top of the case.
Una vez que quite la parte de arriba de la carcasa, revise minuciosamente el pin de carga para ver si estaba comprometido, me hubiese gustado tener a la mano un multímetro, esto me hubiera agilizado en gran medida el trabajo pero tuve que ir poco a poco usando las pocas herramientas que tenia a mi alcance y aplicando también mis conocimientos.
Al no ver nada extraño superficialmente en el Pin de carga, procedí a encender una vez más y esta vez me fui a la prueba de rendimiento. Fue aquí donde pude darme cuenta que la temperatura llegaba al tope, esto provocaba que la placa se apagará como medida de protección.
Once I removed the top of the case, I thoroughly checked the charge pin to see if it was compromised, I would have liked to have had a multimeter handy, this would have greatly expedited the work but I had to go slowly using the few tools I had at my fingertips and also applying my knowledge.
Seeing nothing strange superficially on the charging pin, I proceeded to power up once again and this time I went to the performance test. It was here where I could realize that the temperature was reaching the top, this caused the board to shut down as a protective measure.
Ahora ya sabía que existía un problema de recalentamiento y esto era provocado por varios factores, entre estos, todo el polvo y maleza acumulada durante el tiempo que estuvo sin uso, también el vencimiento de la pasta térmica que podía tener aun en el procesador. para corroborar todo esto tuve que desarmar gran parte de la laptop, no termine desarmándola en su totalidad por que no estaba seguro si la carcasa fuera aguantar tanto, el plástico estaba bastante débil y no quería que se rompiera aun más, aunque estoy seguro que más adelante si tratare de hacerle un buen trabajo a la carcasa para que la laptop tenga una buena apariencia.
Desarme la laptop lo suficiente como para hacerle una buena limpieza, podía ver muchas pelusas y mucha tierra acumulada, para ir quitando todo esto empecé a limpiar con un pincel, bueno en realidad no es un pincel como tal, honestamente no se como se llama pero lo agarre de las cosas de mi esposa 😂. Fui quitando de a poco toda la tierra, luego para aplicar una limpieza mucho más profunda use Alcohol Antiséptico desnaturalizado al 96%, de a poco la placa empezó a tener una mejor apariencia. El FanCooler también estaba muy sucio, en exceso diría yo, también le he dado un buen mantenimiento y lo deje muy limpio.
Now I knew that there was a problem of overheating and this was caused by several factors, among these, all the dust and weeds accumulated during the time it was unused, also the expiration of the thermal paste that could still be in the processor. To corroborate all this I had to disassemble a large part of the laptop, I did not end up disassembling it completely because I was not sure if the casing would hold so much, the plastic was quite weak and I did not want it to break even more, although I am sure that later on I will try to do a good job to the casing so that the laptop has a good appearance.
I disassembled the laptop enough to give it a good cleaning, I could see a lot of lint and a lot of accumulated dirt, to remove all this I started to clean it with a brush, well actually it's not a brush as such, honestly I don't know what it's called but I grabbed it from my wife's stuff 😂. I slowly removed all the dirt, then to apply a much deeper cleaning I used 96% Denatured Antiseptic Alcohol, slowly the board started to look better. The FanCooler was also very dirty, excessively I would say, I also gave it a good maintenance and left it very clean.
Ya la parte superior de la placa la tengo lista y tiene una mejor apariencia, ahora procederé con la parte inferior pero esta se la traeré en una segunda parte. Me hubiese gustado dejarle toda esta aventura en un solo post pero tampoco quería hacerlo tan largo y el hecho de estar elaborando el contenido desde mi celular es algo muy cansado para mi y la vista me esta pidiendo que pare. También que necesito indagar primero sobre el procesador que trae esta laptop, ahora mismo no tengo pasta térmica y no tengo idea de cuando sea el TDP que maneje este procesador, en tal caso que sea alto debo tener si o si la pasta térmica, pero esa información la voy a corroborar luego.
De momento todo marcha bien en cuanto al mantenimiento, espero que después de terminarlo obtenga el resultado deseado y que la Laptop funcione al 100%.
The upper part of the board is ready and has a better appearance, now I will proceed with the lower part but I will bring it to you in a second part. I would have liked to leave all this adventure in a single post but I didn't want to make it so long and the fact of being elaborating the content from my cell phone is something very tiring for me and the view is asking me to stop. Also I need to inquire first about the processor that brings this laptop, right now I have no thermal paste and I have no idea when is the TDP that handles this processor, in such a case that is high I must have if or if the thermal paste, but that information I will corroborate later.
At the moment everything is going well in terms of maintenance, I hope that after finishing it I get the desired result and that the laptop works at 100%.

Si se presentan las oportunidades hay que aprovecharlas, si es posible repararla se hace. Por lo menos dió signos de vida al encender. Esperamos en la segunda parte ya esté funcional del todo
