Hace tiempo que comencé a jugar este título de FromSoftware y desde las primeras horas de juego ya me había atrapado en tantos sentidos que no podía explicarlo 😅. Tengo que decir antes que es mi primer soul de Miyazaki así que fueron un montón de experiencias nuevas, una tonelada de emociones de todo tipo, desde la admiración hasta la furia 😂. Los que han jugado a títulos de la saga me comprenderán. Pero en este post va a ser un poco diferente, ya que no voy a hablar sobre el gameplay en si, en cambio quiero compartirles mis impresiones acerca de lo que más impresionante encuentro en el diseño del juego: la arquitectura.

A penas comencé a jugar y di mis primeros pasos quedé asombrado con la gran calidad del apartado visual, bellas vistas de Necrolimbo que me dejaron con la boca abierta, y conforme iba avanzando aparecían más y más detalles pero lo que más me impresionó siempre fue la calidad y los detalles con las que están modeladas las estructuras arquitectónicas.

I started playing this FromSoftware title a long time ago and from the first hours of playing it had already caught me in so many ways that I couldn't explain it 😅. I have to say before that it is my first Miyazaki soul so it was a lot of new experiences, a ton of emotions of all kinds, from admiration to fury 😂. Those who have played titles in the series will understand me. But in this post it's going to be a little different, since I'm not going to talk about the gameplay itself, instead I want to share my impressions about what I find most impressive in the game's design: the architecture.

As soon as I started playing and took my first steps, I was amazed by the great quality of the visuals, beautiful views of Necrolimbo that left me with my mouth open, and as I progressed, more and more details appeared, but I What always impressed me most was the quality and details with which the architectural structures are modeled.

Desde una sala en el interior del castillo de Godrick, una choza en el medio del bosque o las enormes catedrales de Nokron podemos apreciar el nivel de detalles que presentan dichas estructuras, que pasan por varias etapas artísticas que van desde la románica hasta el barroco, pasando por el renacentismo, el manierismo y la arquitectura gótica, esta última mi favorita y la más presente en la ya mencionada ciudad eterna.

Sus castillos y catedrales enormes con grandes ventanales decorados con vitrales o rosetones que permitieran entrar la luz para purificar sus sagrados interiores y torres muy altas que buscan acercarse a lo divino se mantenían en pie gracias a los contrafuertes y arbotantes, estructuras que brindaban apoyo y firmeza. Ese espectáculo visual que representa lo pequeño que podemos ser respecto a los dioses y el universo me deja siempre maravillado, y en este caso no fue la excepción, ya que supieron plasmarlo tan bien que pareciera que hemos viajado hasta uno de esos castillos en la vida real mientras lo vemos en el juego.

Its enormous castles and cathedrals with large windows decorated with stained glass or rose windows that allowed light to enter to purify their sacred interiors and very tall towers that seek to get closer to the divine were kept standing thanks to the buttresses and flying buttresses, structures that provided support and firmness. . That visual spectacle that represents how small we can be with respect to the gods and the universe always leaves me amazed, and in this case it was no exception, since they knew how to capture it so well that it seems that we have traveled to one of those castles in life. real as we see it in the game.
