Hearing the name Anker, you already know that this product will deliver. Anker is a well-established brand for those who want quality but have yet the budget to go professional.
Their product is known for its affordability and the long lasting battery. However, as much as Anker is known to be a budget brand, around SEA, they are considered mid to upper brand of TWS. So, this isn’t considered as budget since in SEA(South East Asia ) there are cheaper brands that also promising but not delivering the same quality as anker.
R50i isn’t necessarily their new line up but since I was in the market to search for new headphone as my TWS robot gave up after almost 2 years, I decided to invest in quality. The thing is, that’s what often happens with technology. You have to invest a little bit more to find the quality and in the sea of TWS, it’s easy to get lost in good deals and discounts. But I made up my mind that instead of sticking to Robot, I am exploring another brand that I’ve heard good things about which is Anker Soundcore
The thing is, something that just do the job is cheap. There are a lot of practical things out there but rarely offering quality they’re advertising and often a dud. I chose this model simply because it’s practical and has a long playtime duration which though it said 30 hours playtime but if you use it only 1-2 hours/daily you can go a week without needing to charge it.
Another thing that can be taken into consideration is that this TWS comes with an app where we can adjust our equalizer and even activate gaming mode. So for MOBA fans out there, this can be quite an options considering with this option, you can reduce latency and enhance sounds like footsteps and voices. However, for those who want to maximize listening experience for music there are many equalizer options that fit into your preferred music.
Considering the mid-range budget for the Soundcore, this is just enough to do the simple job but also delivers some quality better than its competition in the similar range or even lower. I chose pink as the color because it looks cute and since I usually lose things if it’s black/white, color has been my consideration when buying smaller items.
Personally, I like how the case opens and how it’s being stored. It’s like opening a jewelry/pill box and it can be attached in my bag without any external lanyard. So far, I have no issues with how it works especially during calls. I also don’t have to worry about connectivity issues since usually when I am downstairs with other cheaper brand, I have to bring my phone closer, with this Anker Soundcore R50i, I can just leave my phone and listen music without any interruption due to connectivity issue.
If you’re in the market for new TWS, I’d recommend it except this isn’t a new model. So that should be taken into consideration since I know, some loves to follow the latest model and tech trends.

These look like cool earbuds. I have a pair of Soundcore Space A40. Do these earbuds use the Soundcore app? It's very useful software to easily access different modes, if available.
Yep it uses the Soundcore App and I love that options. It's so useful to switch between different modes and sound.
They look nice! Don't you get issues with the mic? I have Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Anker Soundcore Q30 Headsets. Both have great sounds and noise cancellation, but when I use them for calls, they just aren'tas good. The other party can't hear me well and I eventually have to just take off the headset/buds and use my phone's mic.
It's been about a month since I've been using it and I don't think there are issues with it and the calls were just fine & they can still hear me from the other end. I used to have this problem too esp with cheaper TWS
Ohhh, I am appreciating more and more this wireless earpods. And that's why even though I love my wired headset, I bought one of this. And now I have two, the other one's from my lil brother. I just discovered that some bluetooth earpods has long battery. I thought they only last for one hour but no, another thing is the charging box, I love this one. Anyways, I am not really familiar with that brand. But it looks cool, love the design too. I tried to look for its price in pesos and it says $12.51. I'm not sure if its the legit one though. 🤔
It's definitely legit price. It looks like even cheaper there because their official website listed it as 689.40 peso https://soundcore.ph/products/soundcore-r50i and over here it's about 1000 peso. Usually tws here can go as cheap as $5 to $8 :D
Ohh, and they even accept GCash as mop 🤔. OMG, why do I feel like getting it too 🙉. That 10H playtime in single charge is really tempting me 🙉😆😆.
There are newer models if you're into something new. But I can say anything from Anker lasts quite well compared to others. In the similar price range you can also choose Sony or if you want to add a bit on investment there's bose too 🤣 the options are endless tbh

It's not that expensive and I find the price varies depending where you are. It should be around $12-13
This looks very cute, but this kind of headphones don't fit my ears. I'm currently using the Redmi Buds 6 Active and I'm happy with it. The battery lasts a long time and the sound quality is very good.

Where I am from there are mutliple pricing tbh. The original website list it as $50 but I got it on discount price and only for $13. They have other newer models though. But I can tell you as much when it comes to battery, Anker wins.
