Nah, growing up in a not so fortunate conditions in a little town of India, I never seen or rather heard about this game. Maybe its just we had other popular board games here like Snakes and ladder, Chess and Ludo (I think we invented those games in ancient India hence the popularity).
Only when I started watching foreign shows and movies I got to know about this board game. Now I hear it all the time in webseries and movies.
