To my great surprise, while walking today, I spotted a fenced-off site from a distance. As I got closer, I discovered recently uncovered ruins. I was told that they had been found during the work to extend the subway line, and that it was even necessary to reroute the path to preserve them.
The sign indicated that these were Turkish ruins, probably the remains of their homes and shops. From what I observed, these remains were surprisingly close to each other.
It's always fascinating to uncover traces of the past. Perhaps I'll return with more information about this site.
