RE: Wings on their heels

in Running5 years ago

The last time i got involved with some shoes Nike made that is meant to improve the running experience I hated it.

While they don't cost that much now at the time they were over $100 and the separations on the bottom are supposed to improve sole flexibility. The problem, which i should have seen coming, is that anything on the road gets trapped inside these breaks and also the shoe friggin fell apart.

I'll stick with my tried and true New Balance cross trainers!

I was just looking on one of the sites at Nike shoes with those slits. Some of my shoes are really good at picking up crap. I want them to last a while. Not tried any New Balance yet.

I think the shoes i'm referring to would only be good if someone was always running on a track. Even on street runs i come back with some loose stones and now I don't really even wear them because there is no track where I live that I'm aware of.

New Balance are good for me because they are apparently built to last and I have a bit of a wide foot" and NB makes shoes specifically for mutants like me.
