With that Strava2hive app does it always give your location map? I was looking at it yesterday but i'm not sure about the privacy
It will try to include a location map (and also your name), but it does respect whatever privacy settings you have on strava as well. I have a 400 meter zone hidden from the start/end of my runs, and I know you can have bigger privacy zones.
here. Those privacy settings will also mean that no one on strava will see those runs either, so I guess it is what works best for you. The only time I see a location map from him is when he does a run in a different city@newthings has much stronger settings so that local runs are hidden completely like
