My first decent running shoes were Waveriders and they were comfortable. I have tried a few other brands and they do vary. I think after 1000km they really need replacing. Some have become normal footwear, but some are not ideal as they are not waterproof. Good running shoes are pretty expensive, so finding some on a discount is ideal. I ought to check for sales.

These seem to keep updating shoes each year and they may not be much different. I have looked at articles about the new models on running sites and there are an insane number of new shoes each year. I guess I get good value from my shoes and my Hive posts could easily cover the cost each year.
