When I Epic Failed In Blender

So I was trying to make Pikachu a long while back.

I had to get its eyes perfectly round as, it wasn't:

Then I saw some tutorials on Youtube and found a method. It was a risky method. Not for me, for Pikachu.
Look, you can guess what's about to happen next:

You can see the edges of the eyes are...not like before, but not like how I wanted them either. This Pikachu will be used in one of those wrinkle cream scam ads as the BEFORE specimen.

This was a long while back. I've since taken a break, figuring out life-stuff.

Doing boolean subtracts? You probably want higher poly or subd modifier if you want perfectly round XD

Ooh that's what it's called right. The cylinder should have higher poly/subd modifier is it? That'll fix it?

From memory the default cylinders should be round enough on their own if you smooth shade them. You can also use the uv sphere (which looks rounder). It's your base mesh that will need a high polycount and/or subdivision surface modifier to make sure that the hole is round enough.

Oh, so that was it.

Why did you stop ?

I guess I was kinda figuring out my career-side of life. Now that it's figured out, I think I'll resume messing around in Blender again.
