The Ukrainian Armed Forces have struck another blow against Russia’s critical military infrastructure. The General Staff of Ukraine announced the successful destruction of a Russian "Nebo-M" radar station using precision-guided ATACMS missiles. This achievement carries significant strategic importance, as the "Nebo-M" system plays a crucial role in detecting and intercepting airborne targets for the Russian army.
The destruction of this radar system will severely reduce Russia's ability to detect and track Ukrainian missiles and other aerial threats. This opens the potential for creating an air corridor for the deployment of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles, increasing the effectiveness of Ukraine's air operations.
Experts suggest that this will also complicate Russia's defense and logistics, weakening their ability to respond to Ukrainian strikes, marking a critical step in the ongoing counteroffensive by Ukraine's forces.
