Time has put an end to another year, and a new one has just begun!
Year 2024 brought a lot of things to us: fun and melancholic moments, chaotic and solemn ones. I bet the excitement and the anxiety are pretty much beginning to stir up inside us right now as we are about to welcome another year of uncertainties in life. However, what comes in the future is something that our future selves should think about. As of now, it is our responsibility to live in the present and to savor every bit of it.
Now hear me up! What exciting thing can we do to welcome a brand new year?
βPool Parties!β
My friends, allow me to bring you with me to this little resort located on top of the mountainβa hidden place to bring your family, friends, lovers, or anyone you wanna hang out with.
Welcome to Tuburan Mountain Resort
Tuburan Mountain Resort is located in Tuburan Sur, Danao City. From the central part of Danao, just head near Gaisano Capital Mall or Prince Town Danao Hypermarket and take a habal habal (motorbike) ride to get there.
The resort offers you an overlooking view showing the city of Danao and the rest of the gigantic mountains surrounding it.
The resort opens from 8 AM to 6 PM during the weekdays, while 8 AM to 9 PM on weekends. It is a budget-friendly place, as its entrance fee ranges from:
π¨100 pesos (adults)
π§50 pesos (kids)
π΅80 pesos (Senior Citizens)
The cottages vary in price depending on their sizes, estimatedly from 250 pesos to 1 000 pesos.
There is also an available function hall area for the guests to rent for 3 000 pesos to hold events like prom, birthday party, mini reunion, wedding celebration, etc.

Way back in 2020, our school held our grand ball in Tuburan Mountain Resort, where we glided the night away. Like prince and princess, my friends and I socialized with one another over dinner, songs, and dances. That was the last fun memory I had with them as seniors before the pandemic came and had the world locked up.

Pool Areas
The resort has four pool areas in total. There are separate designated pool areas for kids and adults. The main pool area is a big rectangular one with a single slide, which is designed for the adult guests. The pool is spacious enough to hold fun games in the water.
Beside it is the main kiddie pool area, with its cute, colorful designs and a little slide for the kids to have as much fun as the adults. Of course the adults are still very much welcome to play in its shallow waters especially those who cannot swim.
My Fun Times in TMR
Since Tuburan Mountain Resort is not too far of a destination, I have been there several times with my family and friends. In my high school years, this place has always been our go-to resort to hold our organizational year-end parties with my co-SSG officers and our adviser. Memories stored in bubbles as we splish splashed in the water. This resort holds a special place in my heart as it carries lots of nostalgic memories for me.

Last year 2023, with my university blockmates, we held our year-end party at the exact same resort. The sky was cloudy at that time, but the smiles on our faces brightened our hearts. We played games in and out of the water, shared foods, and swam for hours.

Best Spots for taking Pictures πΈ
Almost every corner of the resort is a great spot for taking pictures, may it be a solo one or group photos. The mountains posing in the background are important elements that complete every photo you take.
