Hoy estoy de cumpleaños y estoy feliz de poder estar en Puerto Ordaz (Venezuela) junto a mi familia para celebrarlo.
Hello my beautiful people of Hive.
Today is my birthday and I am happy to be in Puerto Ordaz (Venezuela) with my family to celebrate it.
Hace una semana iniciamos un viaje con destino a Puerto Ordaz, dónde vive mi hermana menor con mi cuñado y mis sobrinas mayores. Tenía junto a mi mamá un poco más de un año sin verlas, así que por motivo del cumpleaños de mis sobrinas y el mío que celebramos en este mes de Septiembre, quisimos venir a verlas.
Tenía mucho tiempo sin viajar en bus, además viajaba con mi mamá y mi abuela que son mayores y a veces les duelen sus piernas y articulaciones, así que sabía que para ellas sería un poco complicado. Sin embargo por la situación país, viajar en bus es más económico aunque también un poco más peligroso y los viajes son más largos, en el sentido de que son más horas de un lugar a otro.
A week ago we started a trip to Puerto Ordaz, where my younger sister lives with my brother in law and my older nieces. My mom and I hadn't seen them for a little over a year, so for my nieces' and my birthday, which we celebrate in September, we wanted to come and see them.
I had a long time without traveling by bus, plus I was traveling with my mom and my grandmother who are older and sometimes their legs and joints hurt, so I knew it would be a little complicated for them. However, because of the situation in the country, traveling by bus is cheaper but also a little more dangerous and the trips are longer, in the sense that it takes more hours from one place to another.
Nos reunimos en el terminal con mi abuela y la hija de un primo que también nos acompañaría, mi hermano menor nos acompañó para despedirnos, estábamos muy contentos de por fin realizar este viaje y aunque estamos más acostumbrados a viajar en carro particular, siempre hay que atreverse si queremos lograr las cosas para hacer algo nuevo.
Este viaje duró 5 horas, cuando por lo general tarda solo 3, pero llegamos con bien. Este reencuentro es algo que me reconforta, ya que como les dije he estado pasado momentos difíciles a nivel emocional y laboral, así que espero pasarla bien en esta temporada junto a mi familia.
We met at the terminal with my grandmother and the daughter of a cousin who would also accompany us, my younger brother accompanied us to say goodbye, we were very happy to finally make this trip and although we are more accustomed to travel by private car, you always have to dare if we want to achieve things to do something new.
This trip took 5 hours, when it usually takes only 3, but we arrived safely. This reunion is something that comforts me, because as I said I have been going through difficult times emotionally and at work, so I hope to have a good time this season with my family.
