Join me as we visit our beloved adviserās home and spend time together before we part ways. A celebration of our friend Hanzās birthday as well.š
In my last blog, I shared with you guys our PEH 4 culminating activity as well as our bond at Marlynās house. That time, when we were in Marlynās house, we planned to go to Sir Mandalās house, our adviser. We also asked him if we could go, and he said that we could. We set a date for when we were going to go. When we already set our plan, we felt the excitement because itās our first time going to Sir Mandalās house.

Sir Mandal has been our adviser for two consecutive years; he is a good adviser to us. He really has a special place in my heart; I canāt explain how good Sir Mandal is. All I can say is that he really did his very best to teach us, to discipline us, to support us, to care for us, and to love us in any way that he could. He is a very hardworking person. Sir Mandal is the kind of person who will never express what he feels; he just wants to be alone and be back like heās okay. He doesn't deserve any of that.
Thatās why we feel sorry if sometimes we give him headaches because weāre too hardheaded and never listen, and I know he doesnāt want us to feel sorry for him. All I wish for him is to be happy forever and conquer every challenge he will encounter. I also promise to be there for him if he needs someone to talk to and to understand him. Sir Mandal is one of the people for whom I will always be thankful and the person that I will never forget in my life.š
Itās the day that we planned on visiting Sir Mandalās home; we already set the time of our meeting and decided to go at 7 a.m.ā°Since Sir Mandalās place and my place are not that far apart, I told my friends that I would just wait for them at our alley and ride the ājeepā or "multicab" that they were in. Itās already 7 and still they are not traveling, so I told them to chat with me if they were already in a ride. When I already received a chat, I immediately departed from our house. I arrived at our alley at 7:15 AM. When the ājeepā or āmulticabā they were in stopped in front of meš, I quickly got inside. In just a minute, we had already arrived at Springwoods Alley. Actually, I can just walk from our alley to Springwoods Alley, but Iām too lazy to walk. Thatās why I waited for them.
We immediately go down; we still need to walk before we get to Sir Mandalās house. I can say itās a long walk before we arrive.š¶š»āāļøWe talked and had āchikaā with each other while walking, and surprisingly, we arrived quickly. When we arrived, Sir Mandal was not yet ready; he said that he had just finished his laundry and was actually going to take a bath. He welcomed us with a smile, and weāre so happy to see that. We sat on his cute little sofa and said that he would take a quick bath first.
We're just silently sitting; after a few minutes, weāre already so loud that the adjustment is pretty quick. While Sir Mandal is taking a bath, Marlyn, @patrixx21 , and I watched a K-pop variety episode called Going Seventeen. Itās so funny that we canāt stop laughing. Justine and Edreyan are starting to review because one of our purposes in visiting Sir Mandalās home is to review too, because tomorrow is our final examination.š
We finished watching, and Sir Mandal was also finished and ready. Itās still early in the morning. Sir Mandal asked us if we were hungry, and we said no because we had already eaten before going. Since weāre not hungry, we just talk to each other until lunchtime. We already felt our tummies growling, especially Sir Mandal, who forgot to drink coffee this morning. We are all too lazy to buy some food, but gladly, Luis arrived. We waited for him because he would be the one who would buy food for us together with Justine, the lovers. (heheāŗļø) They will use Sir Mandalās motorcycle, so itās not that tiring. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHš )
We talked about what foods we were going to have for lunch, and Sir Mandal suggested āLechon Manok,ā or Filipino Roast Chickenš, because itās ready to eat. Each of us contributed 50 pesos. Since itās also Hanzās birthday, Sir Mandal decided to buy a cake for him, and he decided to shoulder the money for the cake just to have a small celebration for our friend's birthday that will arrive later. Then they departed.

Sir Mandal remembers that we donāt have any rice, so he asks Edreyan and Marlyn to buy and also a gas for cooking. Sir Mandal borrows a butane stove from his neighbor since he really doesnāt cook in his house; thatās why he doesnāt have one. I volunteered to cook the rice when Edreyan and Marlyn had already arrived.š©š»āš³ I cooked a bunch of rice because there were many of us. While I was cooking the rice, Sir Mandal suddenly said that he would go and pick up @memwuai because she didnāt know the directions. They got back safely. When I was done, we just waited for Luis and Justine to arrive.
They arrived safely, and we immediately prepared the foods, rice, and drinks so that we could start eating. When itās all set and ready, we take pictures, pray, and start eating.šš»š
We finished everything, and all of us are full already. I just realized that I cooked too much rice, but itās okay to have excess rice rather than not enough rice. We clean the dishes and tables after. We take a rest afterwards. Sir Mandal told us that we should watch a movie, and he suggested the movie āREWINDā because he still hadnāt seen it, so we all agree, even though the majority of us already saw that for Sir Mandal, itās always okay.š¬

We concentratedly watched the movie when suddenly Sir Mandal received a message from Hanz that he was coming. Luis got him at the alley because he's too lazy to walk. We immediately paused the movie and quickly unboxed the cake and lit the candle to surprise him. I hid at the CR like Sir Mandal said and waited for them.

He arrived happily, and they all wished him a happy birthday. Sir Mandal knocked on the door as a signal for me to go out with the cake. We all sang happy birthday to Hanz, who was surprised to see a cake. He blew out the candle happily.š°

We continue to watch the movie while going to eat a cake. He sliced it very evenly, so I took a bite, and itās so delicious. They bought coffee-flavored cake since thatās the only flavor cake that Sir Mandal wants to eat. We are all so happy eating the cake. We finished eating the cake and finished watching the movie.
We all felt like weāre in the mood to tease Justine and Luis, or, in short, āThe Jajuā love team (HHAHAHAHAHHAš), Ja for Jan Luis and Ju for Justine. After all the teasing, we clean Sir Mandalās place before going home. Sir Mandal took a bath again because he would come with us and do some jogging at Naga, so we left together.
As we gathered in Sir Mandalās home for the last time, we were filled with a mix of joy and sadness. The laughter and stories we shared reminded us of the incredible journey we've had together. Although graduation will soon take us on different paths, the lessons and friendships we've made here will stay with us forever. Leaving Sir Mandalās house, we felt a deep sense of gratitude and hope, knowing that these bonds will keep us connected no matter where we go. This isn't just an end; it's a new beginning, and we carry forward with hearts full of memories and dreams.šš
So, as I draw to a close, let us never forget that supporting one another is what will always make us stronger.

Itās really good that advisers maintain a good and healthy relationship with his students because it will encourage students to do better in school and consider their advisers their second parents. High school is indeed one of the best days of our lives and enjoy it while it lasts. When you go into college, priorities start to take effect and when after college, life at work is a rollercoaster ride also. Enjoy every moment and btw, love the movie Rewind! You will indeed learn a lot of life lessons you will ponder for the rest of your life.āŗļøā”

High school really is a special time, and it's important to enjoy it while it lasts. College and work do bring new challenges, but they also offer new opportunities.
