Hi hivers, how's your day? I hope it turns out well. Anyone like to unwind and relax here? Well if it's you then take a look at my blog. Sharing my experience of one the hidden gems of Cebu, in the south specifically in Moalboal Cebu. I was thrilled to experience one of the famous beaches here in Cebu. The experience was great if I would rate it 10/10. As I've mentioned in my first blog, I like nature trips including the beach.
I do have lots of memories at the beach. When I was young every Sunday, me and my family would always visit the public beach here at Naga. I do experience drowning. That's why I don't want to learn how to swim. Many things do change growing up. We got separated due to certain reasons like my kuya goes to the city to take college since my Tito was living in the city. My eldest brother works and did not finish his studies. Afterwards he is now building his own family. I'm the one left in the house with mom and dad.
Anyways, my boyfriend is a basketball player. He always achieves to be the most valuable player every game. He became the season's most valuable player and also to be one of the mythical five.Their team wants to celebrate their victory. Even though they just ranked 3rd place. It was an honor for them to represent their barangay. That even though they are small players they are small but treble.
Afterwards, they decided they will celebrate it at the beach. And started to list the things they needed. So I was invited also by them. And I grabbed the opportunity since I love beaches. Onwards I tell my mom that I will be joining the victory part of my boyfriend's basketball team. And she agreed since I told her all the information she wanted. I also told my dad about it. He also agreed and tell me to behave since it's my first time visiting that place.
I don't know how to swim. It seems funny but yes. I love going to the beach,and exploring but I don't know how to swim. Well, being at the beach is my comfort zone. Since high school. Me and one of my friends would visit seashores to relax, speak out our minds and share about our life. I'm a kind of person who is secretive. I didn't share the things that hurt me. I just listened to my friend.
Anyway, this journey of mine visiting moalboal was a great experience. We pack our things at 6 am. It's too early in the morning and I didn't eat breakfast. Waiting for some of our friends to arrive. At 8 am we already got to our vehicle and were ready to go.
In the car we talk, we sing, and laugh. Due to some circumstances we get lost. Basically we will go to barili but we get lost on our way and the beach there has lots of stones. That's why our ate decided to go to Moalboal and the decision was great. We arrive at 11 am and all of us are already hungry. So the boys prepare the food they cook.
After that we eat. Then we decided to go for a swim. Some of our friends go kayaking. And we walk along the beach. We see different people enjoying themselves with their family, friends and lover. You can see in their faces that they enjoy their trip. Like us.
Onwards it's already dark so we decided to cook for our dinner. We have some longganisa and hotdogs. We grilled it on fire. Afterwards we are all full. We decided to go to the seashore. We make chairs made of sand. We drink and talk the rest of the evening.
I was so wet that time because of swimming. So I decided to go take a shower and change clothes.
Since I'm tired I lay down to bed while everyone was at the seashore. I just want to relax because I feel something odd. That's why I decided to rest first. The boys were so drunk, I heard them singing and dancing outside. After that, the place becomes quiet, that's why I decided to find them.
I walked for a while and then I saw them. The boys are already sleeping in the sand. They make fun of themselves. Afterwards they woke up and swam again. They played together while I was watching them and laughing hard. They had a lot of energy that night. They feel like they are unstoppable.
Afterwards, they decided to take a bath and prepare themselves to go home. It was already 12 midnight since we left the place but the memories remain. The experience was great. I was able to speak with the basketball players. How things work out for them also their secrets. I get to know them not just by name but also their character. It was filled with laughter and we got to enjoy every moment we shared.
I just want to express my gratitude that we should be able to take care of our environment for us to have a beautiful place to live in. As I see Moalboal beach is beautiful but there is some garbage that we can see in the surroundings. It's kinda sad how people visit the place but not showing their responsibility as human beings.
We should practice proper waste disposal, which is one of the most important things we should do. As a human being living on this earth we should take care of mother earth.Plastics are the ones that have a major effect on our surroundings. If we just put our garbage everywhere it can cause a lot of trouble.

Moalboal is a nice place, and I've been there many times. You are correct, It's very frustrating to see some people treat the place like a trash bin, they just leave their garbage. They enjoyed the place but didn't show a little respect.
