In Medellin, my daughter and I had the opportunity to reconnect with a very dear friend in the lovely area of Provenza. From the very first moment, the vibrant and festive atmosphere of the place filled me with energy and enthusiasm. We walked through its colorful streets, admiring how at every corner there were people of all ages enjoying outdoor venues or cozy bars and cafes.
Provence is a wonderful place to share unforgettable moments and chat with friends, as they say around here. It is these encounters that allow, between conversations, laughter, and memories, to further strengthen the bonds of friendship. During our tour together, the sounds of the city blended harmoniously, creating a perfect setting for enjoyment.

En Medellín, mi hija y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de reencontrarnos con una amiga muy querida en la encantadora zona de Provenza. Desde el primer instante, el ambiente vibrante y festivo del lugar me llenó de energía y entusiasmo. Caminamos por sus calles llenas de color, admirando cómo en cada rincón había gente, de todas las edades, disfrutando de lugares al aire libre o en acogedores bares o cafés.
Provenza es un sitio maravilloso para compartir momentos inolvidables y parchar entre amigos, como se dice por aquí. Son estos encuentros los que permiten, entre conversaciones, risas, y recuerdos, fortalecer, aún más, los lazos de amistad. Durante nuestro recorrido juntas, los sonidos de la ciudad se mezclaban armoniosamente, creando un escenario perfecto para el disfrute.
After walking around for a while, we decided to take a break at an outdoor terrace, where we ordered some delicious cold coffees. I really enjoyed the moment, tasting the intense flavor of the coffee, the evening breeze and pleasant music in the background. It all resulted in a unique experience. Thus, we enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and the constant murmur of a city that was just welcoming an evening of conversation.
That meeting with our friend in Provence was a wonderful experience that reminded me how valuable it is to spend time with those we cherish. Those people with whom we share moments, laughter and confidences, and even if life takes us down different paths, the affection always remains intact. It also made me reflect on the beauty of enjoying life with simplicity and celebrating friendship with a heart full of gratitude and affection.
Luego de pasear un buen rato, decidimos hacer una pausa en una terraza al aire libre, donde pedimos unos deliciosos cafés fríos. Me gustó mucho el momento, degustando el intenso sabor del café, la brisa de la noche y una música agradable de fondo. Todo resultó en una experiencia única. Así, disfrutamos de un ambiente relajado y del murmullo constante de una ciudad que apenas le daba la bienvenida a una noche de tertulia.
Ese encuentro con nuestra amiga en Provenza fue una experiencia maravillosa que me recordó lo valioso que es dedicar tiempo a quienes apreciamos. Esas personas con las que compartimos momentos, risas y confidencias, y aunque la vida nos lleve por distintos caminos, el cariño siempre permanece intacto. También me hizo reflexionar sobre la belleza de disfrutar la vida con sencillez y celebrar la amistad con el corazón lleno de gratitud y afecto.
