Esta primera semana de septiembre realmente fue un retiro de todo. La verdad nunca me había ido de campamento por tanto tiempo, pero esta vez se presentó la oportunidad así que me tomé más de 3 días. Bueno, queridos Hivers estuve en Tinaquillo- Cojedes, muy rural y bastante caliente. Mi acampada comenzó el domingo 3 de septiembre, subí a la autobus que nos llevaría allá, luego de 2 horas de un sencillo y tranquilo viaje... llegue... al fin. 🫠
This first week of September was really a retreat from everything. I had never really gone camping for so long, but this time the opportunity presented itself so I took more than 3 days. Well, dear Hivers I was in Tinaquillo- Cojedes, very rural and quite hot. My camping trip started on Sunday September 3rd, I got on the bus that would take us there, after 2 hours of a simple and quiet trip... I arrived... finally... at last. 🫠
El lugar era grande y bastante cómodo, todo un club rural, pero en muy buen estado. Los trabajadores lo cuidaban mucho. El momento llegó después de que recorrí el lugar y me tomé muchas fotos, era hora de empezar el campamento y bueno lo que yo creí un respiro y un retiro, se volvió una semana de más trabajo y reglas... no puede se ahahahhahaha... literalmente no era jueves aún y yo ya tenia insomnio en las noches y sueño desde las 7:00 am hasta las 5:00 pm. Era bastante fuerte (600 jóvenes en un lugar y yo tener que organizar las actividades) como se me ocurrió aceptar eso?
The place was large and quite comfortable, all country club, but in very good condition. The workers took good care of it. The moment came after I toured the place and took a lot of pictures, it was time to start the camp and well what I thought was a respite and a retreat, turned into a week of more work and rules... no way ahahahhahaha... it literally wasn't Thursday yet and I already had insomnia at night and sleep from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. It was pretty tough (600 kids in one place and me having to organize the activities) how could I even think of agreeing to that?
Lo bueno es que el sábado cuando llegue realmente dormí como un bebé, tan plácidamente que mi cuerpo se renovó. Bueno, parte de las actividades eran más espirituales que recreativas, pensar en mi vida y mis metas... también cuidar a varios jóvenes que estarían a mi cargo, algo tipo una patruya (Compañias). También disfrutar del paisaje el ver un nuevo sitio y compartir con nuevas personas, me ayudo a ampliar mi círculo social y así conocer nuevos amigos. Una forma de disfrutar las cosas pequeñas y sencillas de esta vida es también darse la oportunidad de conocer grandes personas que tienen el poder de influir positivamente en tu vida.... Gracias.💛
The good thing is that on Saturday when I arrived I actually slept like a baby, so peacefully that my body was renewed. Well, part of the activities were more spiritual than recreational, thinking about my life and my goals... also taking care of several young people who would be in my care, something like a Patruya (Companionship). Also enjoying the scenery, seeing a new place and sharing with new people helped me to expand my social circle and meet new friends. One way to enjoy the small and simple things in life is also to give yourself the opportunity to meet great people who have the power to positively influence your life..... Thank you. 💛
Wow! That was a HUGE camping trip, and your photos tell me that it was an amazing experience.
The site and the nature are stunning overall and I feel so much tranquility from just looking at the water:)
