It doesn’t matter the bad things you are going through, because when you are having a birthday the only important thing is to thank God for one more year of life and experiences of all kinds, and also to celebrate this day with the people who really love you and those you love.
I have a birthday on February 29th, but the years that only have 28 days I have always celebrated on March 1st, so yesterday Saturday I celebrated with my family this special day. I must say that I receive congratulations on two days, some people congratulate me on February 28 because it is the last day of the month, but all my family and everyone who has known me for years knows that I celebrate the day after the 28th.

No importa las cosas malas por las que estés pasando, porque cuando estás cumpliendo años lo único importante es dar gracias a Dios por un año más de vida y de experiencias de todo tipo, además celebrar ese día con las personas que de verdad te aman y los que tú amas.
Cumplo años el 29 de febrero, pero los años que solo tienen 28 días siempre he celebrado el primero de marzo, así que ayer sábado celebré con mi familia este día tan especial. Debo decir que recibo felicitaciones dos días, hay quien me felicitan el 28 de febrero por ser el último días del mes, pero toda mi familia y todo aquel que me conoce desde hace años sabe que celebro el día después del 28.
My husband bought me a beautiful heart shaped cake, I loved it. It was also a surprise because I only thought we were going out for dinner with my favorite food which is pizza as we had already discussed, in my ignorance I had thought to sing happy birthday with pizza, anyway we were going to be those who had to be there, but when my husband came home from work he brought this beautiful cake that he also knew was delicious because he had it made by the same baker who made the cake for the 15th birthday of my son Andres. Very tasty.
Mi esposo me compró una hermosa torta en forma de corazón, me encantó. Además era una sorpresa porque yo solo creía que íbamos a salir a cenar mi comida favorita que es pizza como ya habíamos conversado, en mi ignorancia había pensado cantar el cumpleaños feliz con la pizza, de todas maneras íbamos a estar los que teníamos que estar, pero cuando mi esposo llegó del trabajo trajo esa hermosa torta que además sabía que estaba deliciosa porque la mandó a hacer con la misma pastelera que le hizo la torta de los 15 años de mi hijo Andrés. Muy rica.
I had days wanting to go to try the mega pizza in a pizzeria in the city that has a lot of publicity on social networks, so for the occasion that was the chosen one, plus I love pizza as I said at the beginning. We ate very tasty and to finish my husband offered us waffles, my daughter and I never say no to a waffle 😊.
As the cake was a surprise I didn’t have the opportunity to decorate a little to make the pictures with the cake look a little more festive, but it doesn’t matter because what matters is that when my husband arrived with the cake I felt very happy and amazed.
Tenía días queriendo ir a probar la mega pizza en una pizzería de la ciudad que tiene mucha publicidad en las redes sociales, así que por la ocasión esa fue la escogida, además que me encanta la pizza como ya lo dije al principio. Comimos muy rico y para terminar mi esposo nos ofreció barquillas, mi hija y yo nunca decimos que no a una barquilla 😊.
Cómo la torta era una sorpresa no tuve la oportunidad de decorar un poco para que las fotografías con la torta se vieran un poco más festivas, pero no importa porque lo que importa es que cuando llegó mi esposo con la torta me sentí muy contenta y asombrada.
Although when I woke up yesterday Saturday my spirit was not the most festive, little by little I felt more grateful for the good things God has given me and that just because I have had a bad few weeks does not mean that my whole year has been bad, besides I have the right people by my side who love me and the only thing they want is for me to be happy and feel loved and appreciated. When my day was over I was happy, I love my family they are the greatest thing I have.
Aunque cuando me desperté ayer sábado mi espíritu no era el más festivo, poco a poco fui sintiéndome más agradecida por lo bueno que me ha dado Dios y que solo porque haya tenido unas malas semanas no quiere decir que todo mi año haya sido malo, además tengo a mi lado a las personas correctas que me aman y lo único que quieren es que esté contenta y me sienta querida y apreciada. Cuando terminó mi día estaba feliz, amo a mi familia son lo más grande que tengo.
La torta se veía preciosa, tan bello tu esposo que te llegó con tan linda sorpresa. Tienes razón, a pesar de que hayamos tenido malos días, momentos como estos, te permiten recordar las cosas por las que puedes estar agradecida. Tienes una familia que comparte contigo en tu día especial y te aprecia 🙏 ¡Feliz cumpleaños! 🥳🎉
