A medida que pasan los años uno se aleja de algunos por razones personales, distancias de lugares donde vivimos y diferencias. Sin embargo, siempre hay personas que se quedan para siempre en tu vida, que te llenan y transforman.

All my life I have been rewarded with great friends, people who have been with me in difficult moments and have filled my life with joy and wonderful things.
In addition, I have built friends from my friends which has made us share more. As the years go by, one moves away from some of them for personal reasons, distance from where we live and differences. However, there are always people who stay forever in your life, who fill and transform you.
Desde muy joven me ha gustado hacer deportes, en mis treintas empecé a hacer aeróbicos, bailoterapia, step y todo lo que se me atravesara.
En esos años hice un grupo de amigas, muy valioso para mi, me llevaba a mi hija mayor y a mi sobrinita María que hasta le mandaba a hacer licras iguales a las mías.
Era un gimnasio fundado con María Cohen quien hoy en día aún da clases ya pasada sus 67 años, es una mujer activa e inspiradora. En ese lugar todas éramos libre, nos reíamos, saboteábamos la clase y muchas veces también nos acompañábamos en algún momento triste. Mi amiga rosa y yo alzábamos a nuestra profesora y la movíamos de un lado a otro porque ella es muy bajita y nosotras le interrumpíamos la clase para bromearle siempre.
Since I was very young I have liked to do sports, in my thirties I started doing aerobics, dance therapy, step and everything that came my way.
In those years I made a group of friends, very valuable for me, I took my eldest daughter and my niece Maria who even sent her to make lycras like mine.
It was a gymnasium founded by Maria Cohen, who today still teaches at the age of 67, she is an active and inspiring woman. In that place we were all free, we laughed, we sabotaged the class and many times we also accompanied each other in a sad moment. My friend Rosa and I would pick up our teacher and move her from one side to the other because she is very short and we would always interrupt her class to joke with her.
Ya no hago ejercicios en ese lugar porque me queda lejos pero varias de mis amigas siguen ahí. Ustedes me ven con mis kilitos de más pero yo soy muy activa y me gusta integrarme con otras mujeres que disfruten mucho ejercitarse.
Durante la pandemia hasta recibía clases de karate de mi yerno, así que no hay excusas.
I don't work out there anymore because it is far away but many of my friends are still there. You see me with my extra pounds but I am very active and I like to integrate with other women who enjoy exercising.
During the pandemic I even took karate lessons from my son-in-law, so there are no excuses.
Hace poco me reuní con mis amigas de ese gym que les cuento y nos divertimos mucho, volvimos a alzar a nuestra profesora y nos pusimos al día. Ya nuestras reuniones son más calmadas, pero es igual de divertido vernos y recordar todos esos tiempos que vivimos juntas. Hasta íbamos a competencias con otros estados, entonces imaginen todo lo que guardamos en nuestra memoria.
Escribir este post también me ha hecho sonreír nuestras aventuras, y lo escribo con el amor que tengo por mis amigas. Valorar esas personas que comparten con nosotras y están ahí en todo momento es muy valioso.
I recently met up with my friends from that gym I'm telling you about and we had a lot of fun, we got back together with our teacher and caught up with each other. Now our meetings are calmer, but it's just as much fun to see each other and remember all those times we lived together. We even went to competitions with other states, so imagine all that we keep in our memories.
Writing this post has also made me smile about our adventures, and I write it with the love I have for my friends. Valuing those people who share with us and are there for us at all times is very valuable.
