As I sit down to write this blog post, reflecting on my journey as a mother, I am overwhelmed with emotions. From the moment my son was born, my life changed in ways I never thought possible.
In early days, I remember the day my son was born like it was yesterday. The feeling of holding him in my arms for the first time, looking into his tiny eyes, and knowing that I am responsible for his well-being was overwhelming. I remember the sleepless nights, the endless diaper changes, the feeding sessions and the constant worrying. But amidst all the chaos, I found a sense of purpose and joy that I had never experienced before. My son's smile, his laughter and his tiny hands wrapped around my finger made every challenge worth it.
The Lesson Learned
As I watch my son grow and evolve, I faced new challenges and learned valuable lessons along the way. I learned about patience, selflessness, and unconditional love. I learned to cherish the little moments, to forgive myself for my mistakes, and to trust my instincts. I learned that being a mother is not just about caring for my child's physical needs, but also about nurturing their emotional and spiritual well-being.
The Memories We've Made
From lazy sundays spent playing in playhouse to family vacations filled with laughter and adventure, my son and I have created a treasure trove of memories. We've had our fair share of tantrums and meltdowns. But through it all, our bond has grown stronger.
Motherhood has unraveled my sense of identity, forcing me to re-examine my values, priorities and sense of purpose. As I navigate the complexities of parenting, I am confronted with the daunting question: "Who am I, beyond motherhood?" The answer, much like the journey itself, remains elusive, yet I am drawn to the mystery, the uncertainty, and the possibility of discovery.
The Love We Share
As I look at my son, I am filled with a sense of awe and gratitude. His curious spirit, his kind heart, and his infectious smile remind me of the beauty and wonder of childhood. Becoming a mother to my son has been the most profound and transformative experience of my life. Being his mother is a privilege and a joy, and I am thankful for every moment we share.

As you grow and navigate the world, I want you to know that I will always be here for you. I will support your dreams, I will comfort your fears, and I will love you unconditionally. You are my sunshine, my reason for being and the reason I strive to be a better person and I am forever changed because of you. You are my forever love. Thank you for letting me experience to be a mother and for choosing me to be your mother.
To all the mothers out there, I see you. I see your struggles, your doubts, and your fears. I see your strength, your resilience and your love. I see the sacrifices you make, the sleepless nights you endure and the worries you carry. And I want you to know that you are not alone. We are in this together, and together, we can celebrate the beauty and chaos of motherhood and navigate the uncharted territory of motherhood, one step at a time.
