A Day Well Spent: Mother-Daughter Bonding⋆.˚🦋༘⋆

Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! It was been a while since I posted a new blog. In this blog, I'm going to share to you all how I spent my day with my mom. Let’s get started!

This day, my mom and I decided to go to my dentist for a braces adjustment. I wanted to bring my mother with me since it's been a while since I went to the clinic for braces adjustment because of my busy schedule. When we arrive at the clinic, the assistant informed me that they were fully booked for the day and she suggest that I should go on weekdays or next weekend since they couldn’t accommodate me at the moment because they have plenty of patients today. We decided to go to another clinic since my mom wanted to have a tooth filling because her dental filling had been remove. We traveled for about 10 minutes before reaching the dental clinic my mom chose.

As you can see in the picture, my mom is sitting in the dental chair and the assistant assist her putting tissue while the dentist prepares to begin the procedure. I waited a few minutes until the procedure was done.

After the procedure, we went to the mall since my mom had some errands to run and a few things to buy. As you can see in the picture, we ride a modern tricycle to get to the mall which took us about 15 minutes to arrive. When we arrived at the city, my mom brought some medicines, food and vitamins for our pets, and other items my brother requested. We also thrift some clothes since my mom was looking for a dress but instead we buy swimwears. I didn’t have time to take a photo since I was busy carrying the things that my mom brought and I was also worried that my phone might snatch by the thieves in the crowded public space.

After we stroll in the market, we went to the mall and went to the department store to buy groceries. As you can see in the pictures, we only bought essential items and with my brother's requests since we were on a budget. We had this habit of writing a list of the items we need to buy at the grocery store to avoid buying unnecessary items and non-priority items. This habit of us helps save some money and keep us disciplined from overspending.

While waiting in the counter line, my mom took a few pictures together while waiting to be catered. I think the staff assisting us in packing the groceries was little frustrated when my mom asked for the items to be packed in a cardboard box instead of a paper bag while the packer began to use paper bags.

After we finished buying stuffs at the grocery store, I told my mom that I was very hungry and we decided to eat at Jollibee. I ordered at the kiosk while my mom find a seat at where we can eat and she's waiting for me to bring the food at our table. As you can see in the picture, I'm sitting at the table that is near at the waiting area because I'm waiting for my order to be prepared at the counter.

These are the dishes we chose and some food are to be followed. We ordered jolly spaghetti, chicken burger, a coke float, pineapple juice, and chicken with rice.

As you can see in the picture, we took a quick picture before we eat our food. My mom enjoys taking pictures whenever we’re out. Even while I’m eating, she keep taking pictures of me. I don’t mind because I know she's happy what she's doing.

After eating our foods, my mom withdraw some cash since she's out of cash on hand. She also buy some vegetables for dinner and decided to head home since my brother was waiting for the stuffs that he requested. He will go back to his dorm today since he has class tomorrow.

And that's the end of my blog, Hivers! This day was truly enjoyable, and we really had a wonderful bonding with my mother since it's been a while since we had a mother and daughter bonding. Both of us are very busy that's why we are not really bonding always. I truly miss those moments of family bonding because those times brought me so much joy when I was a kid. My father was right that I will miss those moments that we are still complete.
