Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! It's been a while since I posted a new blog. In this blog, I'm going to share with you all how we celebrate Valentine's Day with my friends. Let's get started.
Valentine's Day is a special day to celebrate the love that we had, the love that we don't have, and to start to have. Valentine's Day is not all about couples celebrating their love with each other, but Valentine's Day is also a celebration for friends and family. Our school postponed the event that they prepared for this day for an uncertain reason. We have a normal day for this special day, which has regular classes.
I started my day by going to school and bringing all the flowers that I made for this Valentine's Day. Some people ordered flowers for me; that's why I'll be bringing this to give to them. In our first subject, Khim gave us a mini bouquet of lollipops. She said that she spent an hour wrapping this because she didn't know how to wrap. The bouquet of lollipops is so cutesy; even I don't usually eat lollipops. Sam also gave us a handcrafted bouquet. This handcrafted bouquet was made of star papers, and it was very cutesy! I know that this mini bouquet was fresh from being made because the glue wasn't dry yet. Lastly, Trisha gave us a picture of her that has a daisy that is made out of fuzzy wire. We are surprised that she gave us this present since it was the first time that she gave a present to us. My friends keep laughing because of the picture of Trisha on her present.
I also give this big bouquet to Apreal because her girlfriend ordered that to give it to her because they will not see each other on Valentine's Day. That bouquet is a pastel scheme of flowers with an old newspaper wrapper. I put in fairy lights so it will enhance the color of the bouquet. The flowers are realistic tulips that somehow remind me of the different meanings of tulips.In the morning, we just attend all the subjects that were scheduled for that day. And decided to go to McDonald's so we can celebrate Valentine's Day with friends. Fhaneza told us that she will treat us because that's what she will give for us as her special gift for this Valentine's Day.
As you can see in the picture, that's when we ride a bus to take us to McDonald's. When we arrive at the McDonald's, the restaurant is so full that it cannot accommodate new customers to dine in.
We decided to go to Jollibee since it was just a minute away from our location; that's why we started to walk until we reached our destination.When we arrived at the Jollibee, the restaurant was full but could accommodate new customers to dine in. We find a big table that we can fit and start to get an order. Jollibee put a mini booth for their Valentine's Day celebration so customers can take pictures on their booth.
We take some selfies while we are eating at the Jollibee. This kind of celebration with friends is the best experience.
Fhaneza bought a tub of ice cream instead of fries; she just bought a tub of cookies and cream ice cream as her treat for us.
We eat as fast as we could because we are running from the time because at 1pm, we will have a class, and that time is a minute after 1pm.
This is me, eating the ice cream that Fhaneza brought for us. I think the food was yummy if the food is a treat from a friend! Haha
After we chill out, we decided to go back to the campus. When we arrived at the room, my friends started to take pictures with the gifts that they got from our friends. They are very happy with the flowers that they received. I didn't have a chance to give them a gift since yesterday; I attended a qualifying interview for my internship, and we ended the meeting at 12 midnight. That's why I told them that I will give my gifts on Monday instead.
After the class, we decided to take a group picture with the gifts that we received for this Valentine's Day. As you can see in the picture, all of us received flowers and gifts. We are not complete yet on that picture since Ruby and Des are not around at the school.
After we take a picture, Me, Fhaneza, rena and khim decided to go to City because we had different errands to do. Before we separate our ways, we went to Mr. DIY while we waited for Khim and Rena to buy chocolates for Rena's bouquet that she sells.
As you can see in the picture, Fhaneza is busy finding a perfect water bottle that she can bring anywhere. She kept telling me what she would choose, and as an indecisive person, I would definitely say that she would buy those two bottles.
This bottle was so cute and amazing! This kind of bottle apparel is really wanted. Apreal is fond of this kind of water bottle. Water bottles that are cutesy and have complicated designs.
After we went to Mr. DIY, we separated our ways since I still need to deliver this last pouch to my client. After I delivered it, I went straight home because I'm really tired and lack sleep because of the interview yesterday, and also, I'm very late at night and slept.
And that's the end of my blog, Hivers! This special Valentine's Day was super fun and, at the same time, very heartwarming. I didn't expect that my friends would give us a present since they were very thrifty. I am very thankful that I have this kind of friend. Even though I don't have a boyfriend, I can still receive a gift because my friends are willing to give a present for us on Valentine's Day.
